This radio was for my dad who is in his 80s. It is so simple to operate and he is very pleased with it. Its a good sturdy wee radio and worth the money.

I have just received this and am very pleased with it. It is a radio like they used to be - simple to use without all of the bells and whistles of some of my other radios (such as preset stations, which get lost when unplugging, when I only really listen to one station). It has a nice retro look, is weighty without being heavy, stable and sturdy, easy to carry and has just 4 dials - tuning, volume, FM/AM and low / high tune. Best of all, it takes 3 large D batteries which should last much longer than the typical 2-4 AA batteries in many other models. I prefer not to use mains power as the lead gets in the way and it makes the radio less transportable. It is not a DAB radio, but the sound is very good. Although it's early days, I have high expectations.3.4.23 Update. I have now used this radio for a few weeks and absolutely love it. The reception is very good and it looks fabulous.19.12.23 Still loving it. Batteries put in at start are still going strong. I typically use for 1-2 hours per day.

An excellent little radio, with a very good sound. I do adore this and I can take it with me everywhere. Highly recommended. Back to the past with a great blast!

Looks o.k.but sounds a bit tinny can buy better

This is a super radio. Batteries last a lo g time and the reception is great. Easy to use. Ideal while working on the car or in the garden.
