Makes climbing hills a lot easier
Upgrade on the ozark trail g1 explorer. Big jump from 6-7 gear but well worth it if you have hills to climb. I was able to use the stock chain with adjustment to the derailers, takes some tinkering to get them perfect, recommend getting a quality chain lube.

Perfect to give me a bit more torque in low gear.
Easy to install and minimum adjustment to my bike to make it shift smooth. Way more power for a climb or more offload type hills on my gravel bike.

Silent Running
This unit does not have the usual clicking sound when coasting. I didn't know the clicking sound of the old unit bothered me until it was gone. Also, this unit has worked very well. It's the second replacement. The first replacement, a Sunrace, failed within months. The bearings failed and as a result the gears wobbled.

Replace your old TZ31 with this, perfect replacement, great price
My older Trek had a clunk or knock noise every revolution, and after replacing two other components in my attempt to eliminate it, replacing the freewheel solved the issue. If your bike has a Shimano MF-TZ31 7-speed freewheel, this is a direct replacement. Shimano’s website shows that the TZ31 has been discontinued, even though you can still find it on Amazon as of this review. This model is also about half the price of the TZ31 that is currently being sold.I didn’t even need to adjust anything on the rear derailleur after replacing the freewheel; every shift happened just as smoothly as the original. You’ll need a Park Tool FR 1.3 (or equivalent) tool that works with this freewheel as well as the TZ31.If you need to replace an old freewheel because of noise or worn teeth, this is a perfect replacement.

Great Value, Excellent Quality
Along with a new chain my 7-speed shifts smoothly every time. Installation is fairly easy with the right tools. I have used these cassettes before and have always been pleased.

Works Well.
The granny gear helps my daughter get up steep hills, which are her nemesis (nemesises? nemesi?) That's all I ask of it.
