I am very particular when it comes to my sleeping arrangements. My number one concern is any sort of bright light that will keep me awake. I am always skeptical of devices like heaters because they usually not only have an orange glow of the heating elements, but these days the majority seem to have digital displays that drive me insane. I was pleasantly surprised to see that most of the display darkens after about a minute from the time you turn it on/change settings and the heating elements never really “glow”, as far as I can tell after an hour of use. There is a tiny white light and a tiny red light but if you position it somewhere in the room where it’s not directly in front of your face, it is just fine.Also, I am 100% a white noise person; it is absolutely necessary for me to get a good night sleep. However, my old heater would get very loud as it would cycle through settings to keep the room a consistent temperature throughout the night, which could be quite jarring at times. This heater is virtually silent, especially when I have my usual white noise machine on. It’s a little pricey compared to a few others I saw on Amazon, but so far seems completely worth it. I love the remote.. huge plus for me since it will be in my bedroom and don’t want to get up every time I have to change it (if ever) throughout the night. I don’t see that being an issue either way though because so far the thermostat seems to work well and maintain the temperature you set.Is practical and stylish. What more could you ask for?Edit: I have had this heater for at least a month now and it has continued to amaze me… I know it seems silly being so enthusiastic about a little heater, but this thing has only continued to amaze me. It is SO quiet. I never hear it turn on or off, and I never see a red glow or any indication that the heating elements are hot like every other space heater I’ve owned in the past. Eco mode is accurate to the degree (according to my therm/hygrometer that I keep in the room)Best purchase I’ve made in a long time. It was a little pricier than other options I found and tested, but absolutely worth it for all the added benefits.

Had this for little over a year and I use it almost year around in my basement office.Very quiet ( nice for when your on the phone) and still oscillates great and it's been very dependable I bought a bunch of other brands thru our the years and oscillation would stop or the heater would stop all together but the big one for me is the noise as well. Has three different temperature levels which is nice for under a desk so it doesn't cook you out. Definitely recommend!! Just bought more today for my staff

I love this heater! I was using a crappy $20 space heater and decided to upgrade, and it's made such a difference! The selling points for me were the remote control, the oscillation, and the thermostat. I love that I can set it to a specific temp and then just forget about it (until I turn it off). With my other heater, I was constantly turning it off and on, rotating it, and adjusting between the two heat settings (high and low). This has 3 heat settings and adjusts itself, so it uses less energy than with me fiddling with it all day. It's also quieter than what I was using. No noticeable smell from mine. It's noticeably cheaper than other brand models that do the same thing, which is why I chose it. It even worked after having liquid spilled on it! Although I kinda wish it hadn't because my friend's dog peed on it and I didn't know until I turned it on and urine steam came shooting out of it. That's a smell I won't forget in a hurry, and now it's baked in. Thank goodness I bought the insurance for it! I'm definitely getting the same model to replace it and am sad I'll have to use the old crappy one until it's delivered.Note that this doesn't have a safety switch on the bottom, so it still runs when knocked over. I recommend not peeing on it, if at all possible.

Very nice heater. It's solid & works very well. It warms up very quickly. Probably within 5 to 10 seconds & generates very hot heat. It warms up my 13×15 space within a few minutes & keeps it very toasty. Great features & remote control is fantastic. Plus the button battery is already installed. Not a bulky product but performs well. I like it very much
