These are super strong. Just what I needed to make up my front door anti intruder chain. 8in round stock. 2mms plate, drilled through and very well welded on the back of the plate. Happy to recommend. Please note most 6mm versions are only peened into the backing plate. I know because I ordered the 6mm versions first! DON'T CUT CORNERS.
