Just unscrew the top put blade in screw it back easy but watch your fingers.

Q: I suffer with razor rash/cuts after every shave. Will a safety razor stop this?

I used my grandfather's safety razor on and off for years and it did not seem to shave any better or worse than any other razor, just took longer. I came on here though to see if getting one specifically tailored to women would be lighter weight and speed up the shave. So if you have skin issues with shaving I would not expect them to clear up just by using this kind of razor. I agree with the below advice that a good shave soap/gel/ cream is important to reduce friction but that could be said for any razor. I always use a shaving lubricant, even if the razor comes with a strip.

Blurry Face is not well informed, the double edge safety razors will be using stainless steel blades, pretty much 100% of the time. Any brand double edge razor blades should work. The handle might be stainless steel, the head is likely a zinc alloy. It will probably last a long time. This is basically just an inexpensive double edge safety razor.
