mathematically educational blocks
I have been using these with kids for nearly 50 years and they all like them. They are proportioned in ways that make math easier. 2 of the smallest=1 of the next one up. They are great to play with and make a pleasant noise when theyfall. All the kids I have used them with like them. Also very lightweight and easy to store

Colorful, Durable
These were bought to go along with a math curriculum for our home school. They are durable and enough come in one set for one child. Now my second kiddo is old enough, we’ll buy another set. Great visual and tactile to help with math skills.pretty inexpensive for the fact it’s reuseable over many years.

Great tool for kindergarten
It's a great set; it's made of wood, and the paint looks nice. My kid is in kindergarten, and this set helped him visualize lots of math operations.

much smaller than expected
I had the original product when my kids were little. Still have the original manual. ordered these rods for granddaughter, and was very disappointed in the actual size of the rods. they are tiny compared to the original product. concept has always been great.

5th Grade Math
I bought these to use for teaching measurements in 5th grade. This helped students understand the difference between smaller and larger measurements.

Roughly Cut Edges
These aren't as nice as they look. The edges are somewhat roughly cut and then covered over in really thick paint to somehow make up for it. My set didn't come in a tray as pictured; it just came in a generic cardboard box. One of the large pieces had a split in the wood. These problems weren't enough for me to return the set, but if you want something really nice I would advise you to select a different set.
