This was the first track upgrade pack I purchased for our new Go set. From my experience, the long straights are the first thing I would buy more of after buying a Go set. The Go cars are exceptionally fast, and one of the best track layouts is just long straights and curves, the longer the straights the better, otherwise you will never get an opportunity to fully open up the speed of the cars with the turbo button- they are just too fast for the kit's track layout, and you will be picking up a lot of cars from the floor as they fly off the track (which is in no way a negative of the Carerra sets). You can price out a 2-pack of straights, then compare to what you get in this set, and you will find that it is best to go with this set for what you get. A must have in my opinion if you are going to extend the track. My advice- go with the long straights and the wide or banked turns for maximum enjoyment!

With this extension set I was able to nearly double the size of my slot-car set. They come with extra clips to attache each piece, but I was unaware when I purchased it that four of the curves were banked. I couldn't figure out how to use them so that was a waste.

Perfect addition to a standard set. Contains 8 straight tracks and 8 curved, makes one banked turn and one flat regular turn. Great value that converts a standard figure 8 into a nice big 1/32 scale layout.
