Amazing
This Peg Perego John Deere front loader ride on tractor is so amazing. It was a gift for my little guy's second birthday. He loves everything about it. It took him very little practice to figure out how to drive it correctly and after a few times can steer, stop, start and park (in the shed) better than most licensed drivers on the roads!! The battery life is decent. If your little one loves it as much as mine, a back up battery comes in really handy. The quality is much better than I was expecting to be honest. The assembly wasn't much fun, but it rarely is. It was time consuming (couple hours) but I was admittedly spending a lot of that time getting little man off of it. It is large and takes up a good amount of space to store. We keep it in our shed to keep it dry, so I can't say what would happen if it's left out in the elements. So, in my opinion, worth every penny and then some.

Best toy I've ever purchased
The media could not be loaded. We bought this for my son's second birthday (he is about to be five now) and after a short learning curve he mastered driving it. Only till this past week did it finally break after non stop rough use. I did swap out the battery so it can use drill batteries. I can't believe how well it works - my son pulls around a lawn mower wagon and any other attachment he can find. Crazy good product.

but feel like there's so much information to share on this product ...
I rarely write reviews, but feel like there's so much information to share on this product that I had to write one.The good - this thing is tons of fun for my 3 year old. It works well and is easy/intuitive to learn how to use. It looks really good and the stickers are pretty realistic. I would highly recommend it for anyone with a kiddo that likes construction or farm equipment. One word of warning, the plastic tires sometimes have issues with grip. My son sometimes has to let his foot off the gas when it loses traction and hit the gas again - not big deal, just something to know about. The not so good - The instructions for this thing are AWFUL! It took my dad and I, who can assemble and fix all kinds of things, a LONG time to figure it out. There are no words on the instructions, only pictures, some of which make very little sense. Don't let this stop you from buying it, just beware that this thing might be frustrating to put together! This is a five star toy, just remember that it's a toy, not a high-quality piece of machinery. Great for kids!

Great toy!
I deducted one star because putting together was a pain. The instruction could have been better written/illustrated. However, the toy itself is a big win! It is pretty fast on grass and I have to run to catch up with him. My son loves it so much!

Amazing! Amazing! The Beast!
We have 2 boys that have literally ridden these tractors until the wheels wore off!! That’s about 3 years of continuous use. We got the accessory bigger batteries so we could swap during charging’s. But all 4 batteries are still going strong, they tow huge loads that blow your mind in wagons, they sit against banks doing burnouts, pile 2-3 kids on one unit, I’ve caught the teenagers riding them! Worst I can say is the loader buckets didn’t last very long, but you can’t stop these otherwise! Definitely would buy again but now they have outgrown them, and we will give them to neighbors to continue the fun with these!

Missing screws and less than a month later doesn't function.
Great tractor, packaging sucks though. Screws were open in the box and missing quite a few. Really sucks when you are putting it together before a birthday and can't finish it.UPDATE: September 19, 2024. Tractor has messed up. One wheel stopped pulling completely and the other wheel that does move just spins in place. Right now the tractor is completely nonoperational. This was purchased for a 3 year old who's weight is under 30 pounds.

Ok
We have two of these and a camo jeep. My nephew has Another tractor. I recommend getting the larger batteries for the tractor. If the battery isn't charged up at night or goesdeadfastyou won't get your money's worth of use. When the battery goes dead initially the rule is when it gets more juce head for the house mom is not a big fan of pushing these things. The one we got three years ago has cracks in the wheels because has gotten and still gets a lot of use. They hold up well considering these things are treated rough. The boys watch dad and grandpa do something with the real tractor and try to emulate so needless to say supervision is a big deal. They like pulling sticks around but cant be too big.Size wise my boys got these at age three for their birthdays and at six the oldest is still able to drive. My cousins kid who was big for his age wouldn't have gotten much use out of these. Because he out free the size quickly. My kids are average size and still get lots of use.I noticed someone's review said that it was hard to get to battery...It is harder than the jeep or my brother in law gater but not terrible if you have this tractor you simply lift the bar that goes across the hood and set the bucket down on ground then you turn black button/screw on good and lift to not takes a screwdriver to put it in and out because the battery will wear if you don't match it down. It if you can park it and charge it with out pulling out the battery that would be amazing. Putting good down can be a pain must check both sides to see that it falls right.. It gets simpler with time as our new one is more difficult than old one.
