First off the design of this machine is absolutely fantastic, very sleek and extremely well made. It has a real quality look to it and visually looks stunning. The folding arm mechanism means it can be stored away easily and it takes up very little space. All the usb wires are included and the installation CD and software. Installation takes very little time and is straight forward. The instructions full detail how to use all the settings and it's very easy to understand and follow. Even if you only have limited computer knowledge it's all pretty much self explanatory and easy to pick up.The scan quality is brilliant and very easy to do, better than what my traditional style printer could produce and it takes up less space. The mat that comes with it has all the alignments and paper sizes marked out so it's simple to get the positioning correct. So far other than the design my favourite feature are the OCR and being able to scan multiple images into a combined PDF. Really happy with this device, it's a proper professional piece of kit.

I was expecting a larger package to arrive but everything was inside the relatively small box. I loaded up the software on to my desktop from the memory stick provided but then decided it would be more convenient (due to space) to use the scanner with my laptop on another table. I loaded the software on to it using the cd provided, without any problems. When I came to attach the cable to the laptop I found that I needed to add a usb extension cable - the one provided was much too short. The scanner itself was very easy to set up and was detected by the software straight away. I have tried using most of the features on the scanner and software and all have worked as expected. Overall I have found this to be a very useful and easy to use scanner as well as being great value for money.

The mat doesn't seem so robust and the markings are so faint that to keep them from deteriorating I bought an aluminum panel and glued it down. Not so easy to store but ensures the surface is the best possible to get good scans from. The color is less than perfect but the pictures are sharp. I also use a flatbed scanner and a Fujitsu ix500 which for quality purposes I have to fall back on but perfectly adequate for those scans where reproduction of precise color matches is less important. Very easy to store, taking up so little space and extremely convenient to plug in without a load of fuss if it's too much of a hassle to bring out the 'good guys' when a quick job is needed. Watch for reflections, a stably lit area and no sunlight gets the nest results

This piece of kit may be very useful for some purposes but not for good quality scans of photographs or images from books or magazines - the reason I bought it. Its a well made piece of equipment, software quite sophisticated and multi-purpose, suppliers seem helpful and conscientious - but the image scanning was very much below the quality I need and that of my £72 Epson flatbed scanner.

This is the best scanning hardware and software I have ever seen or used. Don't think about it just buy it!It scans books automatically as you turn the pages, adjusts the text to be correctly aligned and eliminatea the curviture of the book. It even automatically converts into text documents very accurately if asked to.Its super easy to use.. I havent even opened the booklet, portable and so fast. I dont usually leave glowing reviews but Im incredibly impressed.

It needs to allow a own serial number also to delete after sending making things quicker but brill

Was unsure on what this would be like as it was one of the cheaper A3 scanners available but I have to say it’s been brilliant. This scanner was very easy to set up even for someone like me who sometimes struggles with technology. Have been using it for a few weeks to scan in multiple images onto an A3 page. Scans super quick and good image quality. Lots of features I’ve not yet tried but so far so good. Like that it folds down and doesn’t take up much space.

This scanner is very easy to set up; it came with both a cd and a usb pendrive, so I didn't need to go and download the software from the website (I don't have a cd drive on my laptop). Opening up the software took a few minutes, but then it was really easy to use. I particularly liked the option to scan multiple images and then merge them. As a teacher, I frequently need to scan images/documents and edit them for teaching purposes, and this is much quicker and easier than my old scanner - it also takes up a lot less space! I was very impressed by the picture quality and the ability to select original colour or enhanced colour. You can also choose to save it in various different formats. I've only had it for a couple of hours but I'm delighted with it.
