PROTEX Convertible Soft Top Care Kit with Canvas Cleaner & Waterproofer - 500ml, Two Applicator Brushes and One Soft Top Cleaning Brush - BRUSH KIT.

Bought due to good feedback on here & it was the right decision. Kit includes 2 brushes for application & a scrubbing brush for cleaning. Instructions are clear on the bottles. I didn't need much cleaning fluid for my Fiat 500 so plenty left for more applications. I probably used about 2/3 of a bottle of the waterproofer which has done the job and this morning the water is forming droplets rather than soaking in so it's worked well but I think I'll give it another coat anyway, just to use up the bottle. I bought my car 2nd hand so not sure how the canvas roof had been after before but it's come up alot brighter than before. Good value compared to other products. Overall very pleased with this product.Update: I went to apply a 2nd coat but it was just rolling off the roof! I guess it's worked better than I thought!

Easy to apply. Used the cleaner first to remove the green algae then applied the water proofer. Great results. Used Auto Glyb before which was not as effective.Still looking good 6 months on.

Great products! Using a great u-tube video we completed the roof cleaning and re-proofing in an afternoon. The results were excellent.

This product was excellent for my mazda soft top .the canvas was looking a bit shabby and needed a good cleaning so I came a cross cleaning and waterproofing item and as brought it back as new perfect

I really wasn’t expecting this product to work, or at least not first time, as I had a two year build of tree sap so a large part of the roof was green.The first attempt has got rid of pretty much everything apart from a few small bits of green around the edge of the roof which I probably missed when I was washing it. It took me no more than an hour, and I used an old electric toothbrush as well as the hard brush provided in order to really shift it.I’d been putting this job off for a long time but it’s totally restored the roof. I’m delighted and throughly recommend.

Cleaner worked well on a very dirty top . The proofer beaded nicely after application but when it rained later in the day it just soaked in so a bit disappointing . Maybe the top needs a second coat but it’s expensive as the top needs two 500ml bottles per coat . Also the kit is only enough for a MX5 dive hood so a 4 seater need extra poofer
