I am not much of a traveller. I haven't been on a plane in several years. I have watched TV segments of how chaotic airports can be, the long check- in lines, the luggage debacles and even the nasty and sometimes scary episodes of passengers on a plane. I doubt if I ever choose to fly again, but after retirement, I plan on taking fairly short jaunts in my car.When I got out my luggage, I realized how bulky and heavy it was. And no wheels on any of it. I knew I was really behind the times. I thought it is time to get some new luggage.I searched on Amazon first. I found exactly what I wanted and at a sale price. The dark purple was as pictured and it was really pretty. And it had wheels, which I had never had before.This luggage seems to be of good quality. It is lightweight with two small zippered pockets on the outside and a large zippered mesh pocket on the inside. It has two straps to hold your clothes down so they don't get jostled around.The smaller bag will hold my make-up and possibly an extra pair of shoes. It zips with a velcro closure to hold the handles together along with a shoulder strap.If you arecfkying it is the perfect size for a carry-on and will fit comfortably in the overhead compartments.Most women would probably think this is not big enough for their travel needs. But since I will only be taking overnight or weekend trips, it will be great.I have found in the past that when I do take short trips and I am going to be driving, I take several tote bags, more shoes than I need and more clothes than I need. I know I do it simply because I have the space.But I thought it would be less frustrating to cut back on the items I take. Now I will carefully pick out a few outfits, rather than a whole week's worth. I always think I might need them, but you know what I never do.Sometimes less is more. I always found myself wasting time trying to decide among many outfits which added more stress.So with these 2 pieces, it will take less time packing, less time dragging a bunch of luggage to my room and take up less space in my car. Nowadays it is not good to leave anything in your car even if it is locked.I want to enjoy my time away and not make it a luggage chore.I did look at the hard shell luggage as well, but since it won't be stored in the luggage compartment of a plane, it wasn't necessary to spend the extra money.So if you want a nice 2 pc set of luggage for those short overnight trips, this is for you. You also have the option of buying 4 pc sets as well.So happy traveling and enjoy!

Purchased these bags last minute when I decided I did not want to check a bag. The cost was low and they were available overnight--just what I needed, but didn't expect much (I actually told my sister that I expected to throw them away after the trip, lol). I packed the suitcase within an inch of its zipper life, lol. It looked pregnant. The bag expands, but still. It fit into the overhead compartment with no problem, and the smaller bag slid right under the seat. The side pouches allow easy access for chargers, etc. Gifts were given during the trip and I was even selected for extra screening--the bag closed with no problem. I truly expected the zippers to burst.I took one star off for maneuverability, because the sole set of wheels did not make it easy, it kind of wobbled. While part of that is my fault, since I packed it to the brim; it did expand to allow me to do this, so the wheels could support it a little better.I would definitely buy again and even give as a gift.

I bought this set last year for a trip and am happy with my purchase for the price. Please note that my review is mostly based on the larger suitcase...the smaller bag was a great size and worked perfectly for me but I feel like most people checking the reviews are probably more interested in the suitcase.Since buying it I have taken it on a plane a total of six times, which is not really enough times for me to speak to the durability but I have not had any problems so far. I travel fairly infrequently so I didn't buy this with the intent to use it very often though. No problems with the zipper sticking/breaking despite having crammed it as full as possible. The retractable handle has held up well so far. Wheels still working fine. I mostly used it as a carry on but did have to check it a couple times just due to limited overhead space on the plane, not the size being too big. I got the light pink which was great because it made it super easy to locate at the luggage carousel, but since it is a light fabric it got pretty visibly dirty during it's checked journey. Not really a problem and expected due to the light color of the fabric, but something to keep in mind if checking the bag if you are considering the lighter color.When using both pieces as my carry on luggage I did not have any problems with the size of either being too large, even when expanded (have taken it on American Airlines and Southwest flights). I like that the suitcase is expandable because I'm a notorious over-packer due to anxiety (I generally bring waaaaay too many clothes for my trip length so that I have them just in case) and each time I've used it I was able to fit everything I needed fairly easily.My least favorite thing about this luggage is that the suitcase only has two wheels. It rolled well when tilted but if you are standing in a slow-moving line you can't just set it upright and roll it. That part is not so bad, just a bit annoying, but it did have some balance issues when standing it upright. I didn't have any trouble until I hooked the smaller bag onto the retractable handle on the top (the strap on the back of the small bag is perfect for this). The smaller bag sits perfectly on top of the suitcase, but it did make it very top heavy (or front heavy?) so that it would fall forward if I wasn't holding onto it. Again, not a big deal, just a little annoying. None of my friends who had bags with four wheels had a problem with their bags not being about to stand upright.Overall, a good purchase considering the reasonable price. Next time when I upgrade I'll be looking for a bag with four swivel wheels instead, but in the meantime this does the job for a light traveler. I wouldn't expect it to hold up well for a heavy traveler however...not because I've noticed any visible damage yet but just based on the way it feels; not cheap exactly but it doesn't feel very durable.

I purposely waited until I was able to use this a couple times.. I love it because it’s small enough to travel with and big enough to fit many things… it looks awesome and so far it’s holding up great.

De momento la compre para mi hija, el diseño le encantó y por el precio estuvo muy bien, ya que trae la maleta más otra pequeña que bien puede ocuparse como artículo personal en los vuelos.No hemos probado la resistencia que tenga, ya que hagamos un viaje evaluaremos si se gasta o se daña.Pero de momento la recomiendo

Por el precio y la calidad del producto estan muy bien, el tamaño perfecto para llevar sin documentar. Me encantaron que vengan con colores y patrones super bonitos porque es dificil encontrar una maleta que no sea negra o azul marino o cafe, etc.. Compre la cafe con rosa y esta super bonita.
