Amazing life cycle to witness!
I have ordered this numerous years as an elementary and prek teacher. The children are amazed to witness the transformation of their caterpillar. It is one thing to see pictures and to read about the life cycle but it is amazing and meaningful learning for little ones. I am now going to purchase this as a grandmother as well for my grand babies to experience

Best caterpillar kit
This is our favorite caterpillar kit. Since we already have the butterfly net, we buy this cup of caterpillars every spring. This year it was a little delayed and the caterpillars were grown a little more than usual but my kids are still excited about their new pets! We love watching the transformation happen before our very own eyes! Highly recommend this caterpillars kit!

Comes with dead caterpillars
Arrived with 2 dead caterpillars only 2 are actually growing the 3rd hasn’t grown and stopped moving 2 days into it. I wouldn’t risk ordering here I would just order through the website itself!

So fun
I buy these every spring for my preschool classroom. The kids thoroughly enjoy watching the life cycle. Letting them go into nature is also very fun.

Only received 4/5 caterpillars
The caterpillars are great but we only got 4. I thought we would get 5 and so now one of my kids doesnt have their own. But otherwise they are healthy and this is a fun science lesson!

Cool experience
**we had a butterfly “house” from a previous kit**Fun, easy to do, and great hands on learning for all ages. My 2 and 7 year olds loved watching the different stages and made great observations! This is a great gift idea for kids that don’t need another toy. FYI when they hatch, it will be a bit bloody and they do get frisky after a few days so make sure to release them.

Not all of them will live
My class was excited for these, however one of the caterpillars died 2 days after they arrived and yesterday another fell off the lid and died after starting the cacoon process. So now we have just 3 little cocoons.
