They work on a vintage 15" Ryobi made in Japan chop/miter saw. And they work well!
Allowed me to cut pipes, tires off of wheels, using an older miter saw designed to cut wood. The saw I used takes a 15" wood saw blade, and using these 14", there is a little bit that doesn't get cut through if you hold it up to the backstop of the saw, so you have to flip itI saw some bending as I tried cutting through some stuff without holding it still enough, and putting less than ideal side forces on the blade, and they survived. Cut through a tire (and part of the scrap wheel) for disposal - smelly and smokey, had more trouble cutting through the rubber than the steel, but it did it.Having a 5 pack allows me to check the wear on the first one compared to the unused ones.Check the RPMs, and the arbor diameter for compatibility, I highly recommend these if they'll fit.

exceptional blade, compared to Harborfrieght blades
Cuts extremely fast compared to a 1/8th thick blade. Cutting 4" pipe with a 1/4 inch wall, i lost 1/16 off the diameter of the cutting wheel.13 15/16, after cutting the pipe, this seems pretty good to me, seems to me like you can get aalot of cutting out of a 5 pack.I think I paid around $28 for this package, compared to harborfrieght 1/8th inch thick cutt off wheels, that were priced at $18 for a 5 pack. The harborfrieght ones were mind-numbingly slow at cutting the same pipe, that same 4" pipe i previously referred to, it took the Harborfrieght blade 15 mins of forcing the blade down on it, motor kept getting really hot.The thinner mikita blade took about a 1 min to cut through the same pipe, with no effort or having to force the blade down to cut.In closing, harborfrieght blades are junk, the Makita blades even though they are more expensive, bring value in time it takes to complete a cut and the wear resistance, seems exceptional

Chop Saw Abrasive blades
Have a Porter Cable inexpensive abrasive chop saw that I almost put in a yard sale because of having problems cutting metal with the blade that came with it. Bought another blade from Lowe's that wasn't any better. Only used the saw a few times because of this. Decided to try a different blade from Amazon before disguarding this tool. Couldn't believe the difference this blade made. Cut through a piece of railroad track with no problem. Price was great too. Would sure recommend if you have a chop saw.

Good Blades, but overly expensive
I purchased these because my local source was out of the brand I use. These cut well, but are about 2x the price they should be. Personally, the brand I use is far superior in every way, and only costs about $7 each when purchased in a case quantity.

Cuts thick steel fast
I’m cutting 3/16 square pipe and I am making 45 degree diagonal cuts in under a minute each. Thicker blades start walking and make uneven top to bottom and these don’t make a noticeable angle. I could not be happier.

Worth every penny
Purchased these to replace a cheaper Diablo cutoff wheel, which required A LOT of force to cut through thicker steel, and the edge would frequently glaze over and just stop cutting. The excessive downward force also caused the blade to flex, resulting in an inaccurate cut. These Makita wheels cut through thick steel easily, and seem very durable so far. I've made at least 100 cuts through a variety of steel, including thick steel tubing, and the blade has only lost 1" of diameter. Definitely worth the higher cost. They work so well, I just purchased a pack of Makita 4" cutoff wheels for my grinder.
