Great tripod
I love this tripod. It is great and solid as a traditional tripod. It changes to a horizontal bar that lets me set my camera in some awkward positions. I have been able to extend it over a water feature (a fountain) in order to get a perspective of being in the water just above the surface. I have been ably to use it as a boom to swing my camera around small flowers or other macro subjects without the tripod legs getting in the way. Another great use for the tripod is DSLR scanning film negatives on a tight table. The head is easily replaced if you need another mount on it.I have not found a negative yet.

Very Solid and Versatile Tripod, But Not Very Light
This is what I was looking for in a camera tripod. It is very sturdy and adjustable. It can adjust to take horizontal photos near the ground or overhead shots from the max extension of the legs or eye level shots with the legs and center post extended. The ball swivel is large and locks solidly. It seems very well built and I expect it to last a very long time. The QR plate is small and can stay of the camera without getting in the way for handheld shots. The carrying bag is padded and good enough for my purposes. It is a little heavy and big for long distance backpacking but that's not what I bought it for. I wanted a sturdy, versatile tripod that I could carry on short hikes if needed but on longer hikes I just shoot handheld. It is also a little annoying that you can start to unscrew the head when you pan, but once you learn to avoid this it's OK.

Good tripod, but be prepared to struggle.
Great tripod in terms of features and stability. It can hold a mirrorless camera with a cage, a teleprompter, external display and shotgun mic without tipping. Also has lots of cool features for different angles of shooting.Knocking off a star for the absolute difficulty of setting up and using. Maybe it’s too “new” and that’s why it’s so “stiff”, but these locks (pictured) to adjust the spread of the legs (for low-angle shooting) are quite literally impossible unlock. If you’re shooting by yourself and your tripod gets stuck, you’re screwed. I had to have my husband try to help, and even he couldn’t figure it out.Because of this issue, I don’t recommend this tripod for solo shooters on the go. You shouldn’t have to be Hercules to be able to use this tripod. Neewer, come up with a fix for this because this tripod isn’t going to serve its purpose if it can only be used if you bring someone along to help you fold and unfold it.

Precision engineering, rock solid!
Unlimited precision and adaptability! This tripod means business! Allows your creativity to venture into new ideas and angles. 5 stars… highly recommended!Only negative… a little on the heavy side, at nearly 4 pounds… but that is part of its sturdiness! Excellent performance and a great value!

Great value for student use
Arrived well packed. Padded carry bag is definitely a step up from a lot of other products "included equipment" and ensures no shipping damage too. This tripod feels beefy enough to hold up to student use. It's not a professional grade item, but its light years better than a cheapo "made to hold your iphone" tripod. I wish the clamps used for telescoping the legs felt a tiny bit more robust, but the build quality seems good enough overall that I will trust that the clamps are engineered properly.Does everything it claims to do. No sharp edges, no sticky screws, nothing wiggles when it shouldn't.We'll see how it holds up over time, but my confidence is pretty high.

Exceptional quality!
This is a great tripod for the price! I just got it and I'm pleasantly surprised! My current tripod is very old so this new functionality is really great. The instructions are tiny so I went to their website and downloaded the pdf. Once I ran through the instructions a couple times I got it. This is a little heavy but because it's very sturdy. The center ring/base is metal and solid. It has a hole you can hang a hook through for a counter weight and a 1/4" screw hole if you want to go that route. I plan on using it mostly for macro photography. I think this is going to do the job! The only thing I'm going to have to get use to is the quick release mount. The quick release mount could be designed a little better so you can't easily miss and dump your camera. But after looking at their website I can see that there are a number of different quick release mounts you can buy. I just ordered a "macro rail" and a nicer quick release. Lots of accessories. I'm sure going to enjoy this product.

Excellent
This tripod is excellent for my needs. I need it to hold a projector and it does. I use it for cookie decorating and it works perfectly. The height adjustment is exactly what I need. Hold a very tiny projector or a very large camera It’s lightweight and very portable It locks and doesn’t move.
