Studio Spaces: Projects, Inspiration & Ideas for Your Creative Place (Better Homes and Gardens Crafts)

I've had this book for years and then my quilting room became so disorganized I couldn't find it, so I bought another one....which I just sold to another quilty friend, because I found my original one upon shoveling out my space. This book is THE BEST of all the sewing/quilt room organization books I've read, and believe me, I've read many of them. In order for me to sew or cook, the space has to be neat, clean and organized. This book has helped me many times over the years to achieve - and re-achieve - that desired organization. Notice in my pics how neatly my books are organized and my fabric is folded in my IKEA Billy bookcases. Love the glass doors to keep things clean, love IKEA products for helping me create a bright and organized room. And now I have a second space for my serger or a guest sewer. So many great ideas in this book to get a person into the organizing mode.

I checked this book out at the local public library and loved it so much--I decided I had to purchase a copy of the book. As you can see I did and love it.There are all kinds of ideas for storage and making things to use in a craft/sewing room. Various studios are visited throughout the book and each one has wonderful ideas to implement in your own space. The last chapter gives you close up ideas for projects to make, which can be used in your own space. Love the book. If you are trying to organize a creative space in or out of your home, this is the book to read.

This is an attractive, interesting book with clever storage ideas for crafty people. However after looking though it for a half hour, I felt it had not more to offer me. I donated it to the waiting room for our birth center so that others might enjoy it.

When I bought this book, I assumed there would be plenty of pictures and little text, to motivate me in organizing my own creative space. I was delighted to find exciting ideas in just a few pages into the book. I think I will be referring to it, many times in the future, as there is a great variety of places to create shown, with smaller photos of ideas for storing and arranging materials.

This is a great book for helping those of us with no clue on how to organize a studio. We spend approximately 14 days each year looking for "stuff." Because I want to create not constantly search, this book, along with some others, really helps to create an organized space and also gives ideas for projects.

This book delivers what it says because it is filled with ideas for creative studios from people that have different needs with arts and crafts.

It's a lovely book on ideas for studio spaces but I was a little disappointed because it was mainly spaces for sewing and crafting. I was interested in Art Studios with limited space. There were not too many things I hadn't heard of before. But it was nice to look through. I enjoyed anyway.

I think I have every single book or magazine out there for studios as I have been in the process of building mine. This was the best book I bought with so many good ideas for upcycling, storage and multiple media purposes. Thanks so much!

Borrowed this book from library and loved it. So i bought it. Only c praft room organizing book i would buy and the photos make u want to put everthing into practice in ur studio or craft room or cuoboard. Many ideas for everything. Just love this book!

This is a great book full of inspiration, plenty of ideas and a variety of projects to suit everybody whether it be for big or small rooms.
