The spring seems to be an original stradivarius part. I installed it and it has the same resistance as the original spring. But it is a difficult to instal.

This spring looks like the original one. Difficult to put on and needs the ends to be cut shorter. Only lasted about a year.

Strong spring that, after installed, keeps the pressure on the cork which eliminates air leaks.

These springs are very stiff!I'm a professional trumpet player and I replace my own springs. From what I've read online, some people have bought springs that weren't even stiff enough to hold the water key shut.I bought two of these springs and they are as tight as they are supposed to be. I actually had a lot of difficulty getting it on my horn. Which is a good thing. That tells you how stiff the spring was.

I replaced the spring on my child's Bach Trumpet with this and now the waterkey is operational and so is the horn!

The spring was exactly what I needed. Replacing it on the trumpet itself was a bit of a chore, but that's no fault of the spring.
