The Translation (9 vols) of the Meanings of Sahih Al-Bukhari

I ordered 9 volumes of these books and I have only received volume 5. This is unacceptable, I paid £79.99 for all 9 vols! This was intended for my brothers as a present for 2nd Oct. Now it's going to have to be delayed.

Only one came vol 4

This is the formative religious book for the Sunni religion and is hence important for them. To read this book is enlightening and enables one to grasp many of the controversies that have been misdiagnosed as 'Islamic'. These books are alledged by it's author and those that follow it, to contain the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad. Although written hundreds of years after his death and collected as a source of religious law in violation of Quranic commands (7:185 , 6:114, 68:35-6) the majority view is that this book is a source of law in 'Islam'. However as this book shows, the adaptation of this book, rather than the Quran as a source of law condemn Muslims to backwardness, superstition and misogyny. Just read it for yourself.The Quran is complete and fully detailed. Obeying the messenger is done through obeying God in the Quran, not through these half-baked man made laws which sought to take away what the Quran established.

Only received one volume.

This translation is the 'wahhabi/salafi' version. Certain hadiths have been misinterpreted deliberately to mislead the innocent reader.The vast majority of Muhsin Khan's translations including his Qur'an translation do not conform to authentic and traditional teachings of Islam.If in doubt do a google search on the term 'Wahhabi'!

For anyone who has any knowledge of hadith, one of the first names they will have heard is Bukhari. This is simply the most authorative book after the Qur'an in the Islamic religion. For mellenia this book has been transmitted and even memorized by thousands of experts (which is amazing consideringn the size of the book) and used as a source text for jurisprudence. If one truly wants to accesss a true piece of Islam's civilizational contribution to history have a look at this.p.s.: for someone who just wants to read the hadith i would recommend the abriged version

This series of books should contain 9 volumes in full. The first time I received only volume 4, after the reclamation I additionally received only volume 8. I am still missing the other 7 volumes but paid the entire price. This is a joke!

As described...arrived on time...very useful reference for other works which quote these sayings as a reference.
