Kira Home Monroe 28" Modern 4-Light Island Light, Free Swinging Center Arm + Hammered Glass Shades, Adjustable Hanging Height, Brushed Nickel Finish

I fell in love with this design but unfortunately, the horizonal bars were not even, the stems were not straight down but on angles and glass had a small chip. I sent the first one back and ordered a second one that ended up being worse. The lower bar was higher on one end than the other. While these weren't extravagantly noticeable at first look, being a focal point of the room, it was spotted by one person and then another. I love the design so much and it is a beautiful light so I reordered it. Unfortunately the second had all 4 glass globes out of line versus just the one and like the first, one of the shades was chipped. . It truly is a shame and it made me mistrust the overall quality. The return was easy though at least. The worst part other than being disappointed was that I paid a contractor to install the light, then uninstall it, install the new one and uninstall that one. I will also have to pay him to install a different light I ordered. That comes to 5 jobs which means I already paid more in labor than the light cost. Someone needs to take a level or inspect quality.

Out of the box this light WILL mount to a sloped ceiling and hang just fine in one direction--meaning that it will be parallel with the adjacent wall. But if your rectangular table is perpendicular to the wall and you want the light to hang matching the table's shape then there is no variable adjustment provided to compensate for the pitched ceiling to hang the fixture level. You will need to source additional chain links or a turnbuckle device to accomplish it.

This is a very pretty island light fixture, the two globes swivel in the other direction for a new look. I did get a globe that was a bit smaller (glass) so they shipped me a brand new one and it fits perfectly. I love the fact they didn't make me uninstall the fixture and send it all back, they were very helpful and sent me a new globe individually. Great product!

It is not as bright as I was hoping it will be.

This island light looks great in our kitchen, love the way the way the glass gives a circular effect on the ceiling. Easy to install and there are options to make the fixture drop lower by using different size rods.

We received the light in great condition. Everything looks to be just as described and so far we love it. We won’t be installing it until our new home is completed in a few months but I will update this review then. If it works as well as it looks I will upgrade to a 5 star review. It was a great price for the size and quality.

Really like this lamp. Only negative is the center section is SUPER HARD to rotate....have to hold upper lamp to keep from stressing the downrod links. If you rotate the wrong way it will also unthread and wobble.
