A light fixture that wins on every point!
As the chief engineer for our company I can say with authority we have used many items over the years which would fall into the same category as these lights. But, I can think of no other item we have ever used that has come close to preforming as well as these lights. The installation process could not have been easier which was made so by the superior design of the fixtures. The reason the client wanted these lights installed was to illuminate a large waterfall which is a key point of not only the golf course but it also serves as an extremely important landmark to the surrounding neighborhood. These lights accomplished that with perfection. But, the best part of all is this. These lights replaced 38 - PAR 56, 500 watt incandescent lights which together used 155.8 watts of power to illuminate. These 8 lights we installed us a combined wattage of 14.9 watts and illuminates the waterfall much better than all 38 of the PAR 56 lights. Now I'm not a math genius but, I think you would agree that amount of power savings equals to approximately a 90% savings in operational cost with a much brighter display, a longer anticipated lifespan. And when they do fail as all lights do, these lights could not be easier to repair/replace. So, from this companies position as well as our clients we all could not be happier! Thank you for creating such a wonderful product.

Nice bright light, and seems well built
I installed this light this weekend to replace an old twin halogen flood. This light has a bracket with a relatively short pigtail cord, so it took just a little work to install. I bought a round outdoor cover with a gasket and three holes (designed for mounting regular outdoor floods). The cover came with two round screw-in caps, and then I used a UF fitting for the third hole, and fed the wire through that--seems like a decent, fairly water-tight fit. (It is also facing down). Then I just used some anchors and stainless screws/washers to install the light just below the box (high up on 2nd floor peak, into stucco). The back of the light has cooling fins and seems to be made of aluminum. I did not feel it to see if it got hot at all. Two bolts on the sides of the bracket allow aiming, and tighten fairly well. The light does cover a broad area with nice light, so I am happy. One minor quirk--when you turn on the light, it takes 2-3 seconds before the lamp actually turns on (perhaps capacitors are being charged first or something?) Not a big deal, but if you were to try to wire in a motion detector to this lamp, it might be annoying. If you turn the light off and then right back on, the delay is minimal.Bottom line--I would buy this again. Better (and presumably longer lasting) light that only consumes (claimed) 30 watts. What's not to like?

Amazingly bright
These are incredibly bright, albeit incredibly heavy and large too. I have some 100W LED lights mounted directly to the side of my metal workshop, screwed through the R panel in to the purlin. I was worried these would twist the purlin over time. They weigh about 25 lbs each light!I was able to illuminate an area 60 feet square, even though the light was only mounted 8 feet off the ground.Considering they use the same electricity as 4 regular incandescent lightbulbs, you get a lot of light for your energy bill.

Excellent Bright Light!
I used these for "work lights" in a small theatre--for onstage work and rehearsals. The brightness and warm color temperature is exactly what I wanted! I used three across the front of the 28' stage opening to allow for overlap of coverage to eliminate shadows as work is done. And they've performed excellently! The only odd thing is that they take a few seconds to turn on. They're on the same circuit as other lights--they illuminate immediately, and then these LTE 30w Super Bright LED Flood Lights turn on. I *will* buy more!

Really like these lights
Really like these lights. Throws off as much light as the 500w halogens I replaced. Went to order more and they were out of stock with no date for delivery so I ordered 4 - 30w led's from Powermall. The lights from Powermall are not as bright as the 500w halogens but they still throw off a good amount of light. All my lights are inside of a barn so I'm not sure how the weather would effect them.

50,000 hrs is a pipedream!
I purchased this light un August of 2015...it was put in in September of that year. It is now down to 1 working LED. It is on a dusk to dawn switch and if you figure 12hrs a night of being on that's only 13,140hrs...even if you figure 20hrs a day that would be 21,900 hrs and I know it does not run 20hrs a day. Went to LTE website and emailed with no response. Guess I have to chalk it up to Chinese garbage and try another supplier.

Bright but no plug on short connector wire.
Looks well made and is very bright. One star off for only 12" pigtail power wire with no plug, only stripped wires that require either a waterproof splice or a waterproof junction box where the light is mounted. The description did not reveal this shortcoming.

Has lasted more than 1 year, still going
I've used it for over a year now, lighting up a beachfront all nights, and none of the LEDs have burned out. Knock on wood. After I purchased this one to try, I tried to save a few bucks and bought 2 more lamps of the same output but of a different brand (Leader Lead) right here on Amazon and both failed after a year. Big mistake. Pay cheap, pay twice.
