It’s a good cream but the hydrator cream and primer goes faster than all the product.

It’s rare for me to like all the products in a skin care kit; there’s usually at least one “dud” in the bunch. This four piece kit from NXN has been an exception to that rule – all of these products work really well for my skin type.Despite the appalling DOB that appears on my driver’s license, I do not have dry skin. My skin type is normal with some oiliness in the t-zone, particularly during the humid months of summer. These products are non-drying but they’re also light enough to not exacerbate any oiliness. Here are my thoughts on the individual products:Soft Touch cleanser: This does a great job of cleansing my skin without leaving my face feeling tight or overly dry. A small amount works up a good lather and rinses away clean. There’s a light scent, but it’s not perfumey.Glow Remedy exfoliator: This is a powder that you mix with water to create a lather. You use this on *clean* skin, and it provides gentle, non-irritating exfoliation. Lightly scented, does not irritate or dry my skin out.Beauty Sleep mask: Not a mask, but a gel moisturizer that you apply at night. I find it to be a light but effective moisturizer that absorbs easily and doesn’t leave my skin feeling sticky or tacky. Unscented.Zero Gravity day cream: I love this stuff! This is a lightweight cream that moisturizes without aggravating the oilier areas of my skin. It absorbs right in and I can apply my make-up within a minute or two. Very faint scent.Bottom Line: These products work great for my normal/combination skin type. I’ve experienced no redness, irritation or breakouts while using these products. This is approximately a two month supply of product.

I like all of the products in this kit, but the star of the show for me was the gel-to-milk cleanser. It does a better job than my Clinique Take Off the Day cream cleanser, is gentler on my eyes (Clinique often stings!) and easier on my wallet by a few dollars. I also find I can use less of it than I do with the Clinique. I have EXTREMELY sensitive skin that is also dry but somehow manages to be occasionally pimply into my late 30s (thanks, hormones). I used this product line for over two months and did not experience any new break outs or red irritated areas. It was really good on my dry skin, though I did find I needed a more robust exfoliator (I like Philosophy's Microdelivery exfoliator) than the powder-to-exfoliator foam included in the kit. I also needed a stronger night cream than included in the kit (the kit includes a day cream and a thicker cream but neither compared to my preferred Aveda Wedding Masque night cream). I think for the price I would suggest you try out all of the products, which skin! will last you a long time, and then reorder the one or two that you end up loving. Definitely a good buy for people with dry/combination and sensitive skin!

With this review, my wife wanted to test out the Nurture by Nature anti-aging skin car products.It's important to note that products are smaller, so for the price per oz., some may feel the product is quite expensive for what you get, but the fact that they throw in a exfoliator face scrub.The first product my wife tested is the soft touch gel to milk cleanser. Apply the gel to your damp skin on your face and massage. It will foam and then you rinse it out and pat with a towell and you are good to go for the day and night.The second test was the zero gravity whipped day cream and is similar to the milk cleanser. She felt this was very good and not as oily.The third test was for the night and it was the hydrating mask. With the pump bottle, apply the gel and cream and similar to a facial lotion, appy on your face. Also, not so greasy.The fourth and last test is the foam exfoliator to remove dead skin cells and unlike her previous exfoliators, this is a powder that you put a small amount in your hand and some water and massage on your skin.For the most part, my wife emphasizes that there is no major oiliness, no skin irritations or strong aroma coming from each of these products. She does feel that this anti-aging skin care system is worth it but for its price, at over $60, it may turn people off who are on a budget.

I have oily skin in the t-zone, with breakouts in the center of my face, usually. My forehead, cheeks, and chin are relatively clear and tend to be normal-dry, especially in the winter months. While this is probably not the most ideal kit for my skin type, a few of the products work really well on my face.The cleanser makes a nice lather and rinses cleanly. I use this when my regular acne face wash (with salicylic acid) has made my face too dry and tight.The glow remedy is a mild exfoliator. Strong exfoliators are too harsh on my skin, so I really like this one.The day cream, while a light moisturizer, is too creamy to use on my face. It makes it feel greasy and uncomfortable. I use it on my hands and feet instead, and have been pleased with the results. Same with the beauty sleep mask. Sometimes I apply the products and put on white gloves and socks, and then go to bed. My skin is pretty soft in the morning.Overall, I think this is a good kit and an awesome way to sample various NxN products.
