WOMEN WHO RUN WITH THE WOLVES: CONTACTING THE POWER OF THE WILD WOMAN Paperback – Import, January 1, 1993

The book content is phenomenal, but I triple checked that this was the bigger book and they sent me the smaller version which has the font size set for ants. So that's frustrating but I'm going to give it as a gift, but I have to buy another copy that's for me at this is what it was originally meant to be for.

OMGosh Wish had read year's ago!! Every woman who reads will elicit immeasurable intrinsic internal value from --- impossible to read and be un-transformed!!

I have heard so much about this book!! I tried many times to get “into it”I’m almost done reading, but only want to finish, to say I read it.It’s a struggle to get through to the end.I felt it was so wordy, like reading a bunch of run on sentences. There were times I actually had to go back and reread paragraphs because I felt it “made no sense”Maybe it was just “too difficult” of a read for me.I am so disappointed I couldn’t enjoy it like everyone else. There were a few times I did enjoy it… but it wasn’t nearly what I was expecting.

I find this book hard to get through. There are so much descriptions and adverbs/ adjectives and it just goes on. I would like a straightforward list of all the short stories, none of the in between.

Every woman should read this book

Appropriate for all ages, necessary for all young girls coming of age.

This book came fine, but is clearly not new. Slightly soiled, with pen mark. It was sold as new.

*Update: I have since received the other book.I’m sure the book is great however I paid $18.50 expecting a large size book and instead received a mass market paperback that clearly says $8.99 on the back. Also I ordered two copies and I only received one.

Highly recommend reading this book for women. Best book I’ve ever read, it is a slow read, something to contemplate as you read. This is my bible now, so many aha moments, realizations and have learned so much about myself, relationships and the warrior woman inside. Best book ever in my opinion.

Incredible book, from both a psychological perspective and as fuel for the imagination of artists and authors/creative writers. This book floods insights into the practice of story telling and gives good for thought on how I could be used in psychological practices, holistic arenas and arts forums. Excellent information for woman of all ages and a superb bibliography to study.

Clarissa Pinkola Esta is an amazing mind, heart and spirit. If you love the tales of old and the lessons they teach, this is a book for you. Also check out her audio book

read it. in two or three pages, that's a story. then the wisdom. so you can read just a few pages at a time. and still read a story and have pause for thought... which you should enjoy. read it. keep it. and buy it for others.

great book and so true we are wild in nature but tamed by society i bought this book years ago then lost it when lent it out great read i love it i understand where its coming from its very true.
