A must have for your Library!
John Walvoord has done a spectacular job in this book. He was an amazing scholar. I use this commentary every time I read the bible. It always brings new insight to God's prophecies.

Very necessary
This book is excellent to keep with my study Bibles. It is packed with the prophecies, and I learned of it from listening to Dr. Andy Woods. He put this cover on his screen and suggested it as a wonderful reference tool, and as always, he is right. I will really enjoy using this, and I’ll be looking into more of Walvoord’s books. I highly recommend this for all in studying God’s Word and pinpointing the prophecies. Excellent addition to my other books, a wonderful reference book to have. I would consider this to be a necessity for anyone to have to use and share with others.

Great Reference
I'm not one to read a book like this from cover to cover, but this book is handy in researching Bible prophecies. In the back it has a scripture index that makes it so easy to find what you are looking for. Excellent book!

Bible Prophecy Demystified
Quote: "Though it is impossible in one volume to deal at length with each interpretation, the goal of this volume is to provide an explanatory exposition of each significant prophecy of Scripture with some mention of alternative views. The reader will in this way be provided with a workable and intelligent interpretation of prophecy that fits into the larger scheme of prophecy as fulfilled or to be fulfilled, and will be given an introductory understanding of the prophecy as a basis for further study." John F. WalvoordAnd that's exactly what I'm finding as I study this book with the Bible at hand. What, where, when, how and why are the questions I try to keep in mind when studying the Scriptures; no less so with prophecy. Since the author begins at Genesis and finishes at Revelation, those questions are answered much sooner than they might have been had this systematic approach not been taken. For the Bible student seeking to learn Bible prophecy, and who believes the Scripture should be interpreted in its natural, literal sense, and that "in the interpretation of prophecy, every prophecy is related to other prophecies like a piece of a tapestry to the whole", you will find this book a grand blessing. No Christian should be in the dark about past, present and future events in the world. God is in control, always! Praise God for Brother Walvoord.

It's Not "Every" Prophecy
I've heard for years from multiple sound, thorough Bible teachers and scholars that Walvoord's book is an excellent additional resource for Bible study. I started in 1 Kings, because that's where I am in my read-through and already surprised and disappointed with errors and omissions. For example;1 Kings 13:1-3 includes the prophecy about Josiah, but it doesn't include that the prophecy was fulfilled in 2 Kings 23:15-20.1 Kings 14:1-16 states that judgment was pronounced on Baasha (vv.1-4) when he doesn't come into Scripture until 1 Kings 16:1-4.In Revelation, the chart for the Order of Seals, Trumpets, and Bowls has the Trumpets in Rev. 8:2-21; 11:15-19. There are only 13 verses in chapter 8, with the Trumpets continuing in chapter 9:1-21.I will keep using it and expect it to be helpful, but now I'll feel like I'm proofreading it instead of being able to just use it to enhance my study of God's Word, especially the most amazing part - His prophetic Word.
