Q: I would be using this on vacation. Can batteries be used so I can leave the condo?

This item is the gravity fed system and does not use/need electricity or batteries. The AutoChill Pump is an add-on accessory that can be used with this unit and plugged in to automate treatments, but it does not take batteries and would require a plug.
