Very useful fuse holders
These are inline PV solar panel fuses. You use these inline with your solar panel connections to prevent damage to your controller and the rest of your system in the event of a short. These are nice because you can unscrew them and replace the fuse. The larger ratings are for use with larger panels or series of panels. Installation is easy they click right in place with a mc4 connection. These are easy to use and a pretty decent price. The quality is pretty decent too.

Good in-line MC4 fuse holders.
This review is for the 5 pack of TOMSHIELE brand Solar in-line 15 amp fuse holders.Fuses should be your first line of over current protection for your solar setup. These are basic MC4 fuses. Easy to disassemble, easy to swap out fuses and easy to add inline in any solar array. My only critique for these is that the connectors themselves don’t look clean with crisp edges. To me, it looks like to tooling is worn

Cheap protection
We live off grid and run on solar power. There are four different strings of panels and each can be protected by one of there fuze holders. One will because spare. Each holder has a 30amp fuse which should be perfect. They just click right into place after the last panel in each of my strings. At around six or seven bucks a piece, they are cheap insurance for my expensive array.

Disappointed
Missing the negative input connection.

So easy to use, well made and 15A fuses that are replaceable
As I learn more about solar powered projects, I'd like to make sure I'm not going to fry something along the way. I do have one circuit breaker but that's it. These are so easy to just put inline and not worry too much. They are much heavier than I was expecting. Taking one apart showed that the seals are good, the plastic is very acceptable, the standard connection works and fits as they should. It's nice to be able to add these to almost anything anywhere quickly. These make me feel much safer - just in case my math on current isn't always correct.

Solar wire fuses
These fuse holders have "barrel" fuses inside that are 3/8 diameter by 1.5 long. Multiple options are available for you (like 10, 20, or 30 amp) so you can have them in a single chain of panels in series (likely wanting the 10 amp for ~8 amp panel power expected) or for some in parallel. Remember that you don't want a 10 amp fuse if you expect 9.5 amps constantly where you're very close to the rating, rather go up one size if that close. The MC connectors make them easy to add with the existing panel connectors used on most panels. Having protection in the circuit is always worth it in my mind.

A Simple, Effective Inline Solar Fuse
These inline solar fuses are well designed and constructed with rubber gaskets on both the fuse barrel and the MC4 connectors. The connectors fit well when attached to other connectors. The 30A fuses are easy to access and replace. These fuses are very reasonably priced insurance policies against solar panel runaway amperage.
