After a few trial and error, I have successfully installed the dash cam cameras and connected and hid all the wires. Something that the description doesn't mention is a huge safety hazard! The mirror does not angle down for low-light driving. Headlights from behind blind the driver, making it impossible to drive at night with this mirror camera installed.Daytime driving isn't an issue: mirror looks great and the camera quality is exceptional. Easy to use interface on screen and connected quickly to the app, which also has a user-friendly interface.Also purchased the hardwire kit: simple install and now able to monitor activity around the vehicle while parked.Only reason for returning this item is the night-time driving issue as I primarily drive in low light conditions for work. I will be exchanging this one for another style from the brand so that i can keep the hardwire kit installed.
