Pipe Center Finder
The media could not be loaded. I was continuously pleased by the effectiveness of this pipe center finder, which I tested on a variety of pipes ranging in diameter from 1-1/2 inches to 6 inches. With its ability to securely adhere to ferrous pipes and enable hands-free operation, the magnetic centering head is a game-changer. When working in confined places or on pipes above the head, where it may be difficult to maintain balance, this function proved to be really helpful. My tool belt is able to accommodate the Y-shaped design, which measures 2.75 inches in length, without adding a substantial amount of weight. This device, despite its small size, delivers a powerful punch in terms of its capability. One of the most notable features is the adjustable dial bubble protractor, which delivers precise and fast measurements of angles. Working on complicated pipe systems that included a number of bends and junctions was where I found this to be very helpful.

A Handy Helper for Precision Pipe Work
The media could not be loaded. This magnetic centering head is a useful little tool to have around if you frequently work with pipes or need to align materials precisely. I've found it comes in clutch for various plumbing projects around the house. The strong magnets allow it to latch right onto metal surfaces, giving you a solid, hands-free base to work from. That rotating dial with the bubble level makes lining things up a breeze too - just spin it until the bubble's centered and you're good to go. Way quicker and more accurate than eyeballing it. The center punch is also super handy for cleanly marking your alignment points on pipes once you've got it positioned properly. That flexible shaft gives just enough play to conform to different diameter sizes within its range. Build quality feels sturdy and well-made out of that aluminum too. Seems like it could take a few knocks without issues. And the Y-shaped body provides a comfortable grip that doesn't cramp your hand, even after holding for a while. Now it's not a magic solution to all alignment needs, but for basic pipe fitting and similar jobs, it's a solid tool. A couple minor gripes - the magnets could maybe be a tad stronger, and the included dimensions limit what size pipes you can use it on. But those are pretty minor things. If you frequently deal with aligning piping, conduit, or round stock and want a simple way to ensure accurate placement, this magnetic centering head could be a worthwhile addition to your toolkit. Not revolutionary, but a nice quality tool that just works for quick, hands-free alignment.

Easy to set up and use
This gauge is super easy to set up and use, the marking punch leave a good impression ( I did have to re-punch once or twice) and the magnets hold firmly enough to be hands free while setting up the angle. My only complaint if you can call it that is this uses a spirit level to set by which in my opinion is not very precise, still the tool is well made and you can get good results.

Bad quality
The piece looks nice, but as soon as I tapped it with the hammer the level goes flying . Waste of money

Good source of locating top dead center of pipes
Good other than the fact that the magnet on the sides keep detaching

Indispensible for drilling and marking tubing
When it comes to being accurate when marking or drilling steel tubing, you need a tool like this. This is a "dupe" of a much more expensive brand's product and it performs the exact same task, despite it being a little less pretty. The punch stays in place magnetically just like the name brand one and stays attached to the pipe without issue. The dial rotates smoothly. The bubble level ain't pretty but it works just fine and is level. The only concern I have (which would apply to just about any tool like this) is that I doubt I'll find replacement punches for when the tip gets blunt.Overall, if you don't mind aesthetics, this tool is the one to get.
