I ordered this to help hold the moisture in my ball python enclosure. It has been working great and all I have to do is wet it each day. The substrate has held the moisture perfectly and its easy to move around as needed. I have a very happy snake now.

This is by far the best moss for our blue skink. He loves chilling in his tank. Always fresh and appropriately priced!

Moss came vacuum sealed, great quality, just get it wet and shake it like dice in your hand to re-fluff it!

I purchased this product with the intention of creating a mossy hide for my snake, and overall, it worked well for that purpose. The dried moss has a vibrant color, looks semi-realistic, and has a decent texture. However, the main issue I encountered was how dusty it was—some of the moss had degraded into a powder at the bottom of the bag. Fortunately, the rest of it was in good condition and usable.Knowing it is reptile-safe and easy to work with, I’d say this is a good product for creating decorations or functional additions to reptile enclosures. It also retains moisture well, making it a great option for a humid shedding cave.That said, I wouldn’t recommend this for reptiles that enjoy eating greens or licking their environment due to its brittle texture and resemblance to edible vegetation. For other uses, though, it works just fine and serves its purpose effectively.

I’m not gonna lie when I open the bag the moth smells so fresh. Once I sprayed some water on it it puffed up pretty big lol great perfect. Great for keeping the humidity up.

Awesome quality moss and the lizards loved it

Very nice. My juvenile ball python seems to love it considering I just made him a dark humid hide with it, covering the inside and outside of the hide under the heat lamp with it. The 3 OZ is plenty for a 36x 12 tank
