The best way to improve the capabilities of your Gunson Colour Tune!
The standard 14mm Colour tune is acknowledged to be one of the most effective ways of tuning a traditional carb engine. The 12mm adaptor allows you to extend these capabilities to motorcycles and other engines using the smaller 12mm spark plugs.

Don't use the copper washer !
Well made and may work in a lot of cases. I bought it to use on an old Honda motorbike and it turns out that copper washer is just slightly smaller that the recess around the plug hole thread. When you tighten it down to get a seal the washer spreads slightly and stays firmly put when you remove the adaptor. Hours of 'fun' trying to get it out when its deep in the middle of the head ! Will use it once I've got an 'O' ring to fit and a soft washer to seal the adaptor to the compression tester.

Can be used on colourtune plugs
I was able to resurect my old colourtune plug with this adapter to tune my Goldwing 1000 carbs, excellent product.

It's an adapter, it adapts
Bought this to test compression on a motorbike, It works :-) Screw it on to the compression tester and press the starter.
