Well built. Great quality and good price. Great all rounder and allows me to charge my iPad, phone, toothbrush and smart watch as well as plug sockets. Sits on my bedside cabinet and does the shizzle as I sleep.

I travel a lot for work and have been looking for a compact extention lead for my video lighting. This is absolutely ideal... so much that I have ordered a second oneIt might be a little more expensive than some of the others but the versatile design is and minimal space it takes up in my camera bag has made it essential

So I bought this as a lightweight extension lead for travelling. Overall it's not a bad product but is let down by the USB ports not delivering enough current.Good points: has a 3m lead, is relatively compact in size and lightweight (570g), has a good range of ports that are quite well designed in terms of layout. The shaver port is very useful and can also take some European plugs (but possibly only at low current output, I assume this is a 1A port only). Blue LED light shows there is power. I also checked the earth connection and pleased to confirm the unit is correctly earthed, unlike some other units for sale here. The cable is very thick (see bad points also below) which means it's likely over-specified for the current throughput and won't overheat.Not so good points: the USB ports, especially the USB-C port, are awful. The USB-C port only delivers a maximum of 300mA, and averages around 150mA (see photo). 1 time I managed to see this go above 720mA but generally it only delivers around 180mA average. This is about one fifteenth of the charging current of a standard fast charger (my Samsung 15W fast-charger usually delivers around 2600mA, in comparison) and unfortunately this unit wouldn't even keep the phone charged to the same level if the screen were switched on and you were using it whilst charging. But the USB ports will trickle charge over a long period if the screen isn't being used, but don't expect them to charge up a modern phone unless it's on charge most of the day.Also the cable - how thick and heavy does that need to be? It's only capable of delivering 13A, this far exceeds that specification which is good, but results in a more bulky/heavy unit than necessary. However it will be safe at least!Overall it's not a bad little unit, useful to throw in your suitcase, well laid out, not too heavy or bulky but the USB ports are pretty much useless except for very slow/low current charging (like a watch or toothbrush) and you will still need to take a decent phone charger in addition to this unit.
