I bought the Jabra Speak2 40 in January and have been using it daily for Zoom calls ever since. It’s been absolutely flawless, zero issues so far. The sound quality is excellent, both for listening and being heard, and the speaker volume is more than enough for clear communication. Setup was truly plug-and-play, with no hassle at all. Overall, it’s a great value for the price and has become an essential part of my work setup. Highly recommended!

This speakerphone eliminated the headaches from the cheap headset that my employer issued to me. This is a quality solution! After three years of fatigue, no more. This is worth every penny!

Seamless integration with Teams and great speaker and microphone performance.

Speaker makes a crackling noise.I was excited about microphone for its full duplex feature which works great but the voice does not sound as good on receiving end.

I have been searching for a conference speaker that is compatible or should I say certified with Teams, Zoom and Google meetings, this one works well with the three of them, meaning you can press the mute on the speaker and it mutes the software of Teams, Zoom and Google, the same if you click on mute/unmute in the application ,it unmutes/mutes flawless. The really like the bright green circle around the speak when the mic is live and a bright red circle when the mic is muted. It's worth the extra $$ is cost over eMeet, Anker etc.

The media could not be loaded. This is the wired version of the Jabra Speak2 40 speakerphone. It's a portable unit with 4 microphones, built in speaker, wideband audio, noise and echo cancellation, and is certified for Teams, Zoom and Google Meet. It comes with a dual A/C cable and felt pouch for storage. It works with Jabra Direct for configuration and firmware updates which is great because I already use this for my headphones and don't need yet another piece of software clogging my machine. The Speak2 40 is the least expensive of the Speak2 line because it doesn't have wireless connectivity or batteries to charge. I ordered it as a desk speakerphone so those things don't matter to me - its features are perfect as is.On the puck are touch controls for power, answer call, end call, volume up/down, mute and "smart control". The "smart control" button can be customized with the Jabra Direct software to either play/pause music or do nothing. An "LED status ring" surrounds the speaker and indicates device status: solid green during a call, solid red when muted, solid white at call end, one white segment for standby / music playback and a partial circle to show current volume level during adjustment. Once you figure out what the lights mean it's really quite clever.There are some warts, however. When playing music the answer and end buttons will still enter and exit 'call mode' changes the audio processing but doesn't pause playback. If smart control is disabled, the answer button seems to both enter call mode and play/pause music resulting in sometimes confusing behavior. This is a new product and the controls need a bit more polish.Jabra has been doing audio devices forever and like every other Jabra device I've tried audio quality is excellent. Speakerphone works great with zero echo, even with VDI where I do 99% of my meetings. In theory it's resistant to dust and water but I'm not going to test that on an expensive speakerphone! Music playback is OK, but my MacBook and HomePod sound better.All in all I'm very pleased with the performance of this device.
