I have tried all kinds of the top rated, 4&5 ⭐️’s, highest number of reviews and affordable can’s of Amazon’s shelf stable fish and this is my favorite with King Oscar Brisling sardines in Extra Virgin Olive Oil my next favorite this King Oscar Mackerel is highest of ALL others for nutrients and Omega 3’s and 10 times better tasting than any Tuna or Salmon so it has become an everyday health snack/meal for me! For anyone thinking to try can fish for the first time this is the one to try. No skin & No bones!

i LVOE these. Of course I want them cheaper but it's such a smooth mild meaty flavor. I've been one historically to like sardines which along w anchovies or mackerel potentially when eaten whole can give you that "whole animal nutrition" in a can. but I'm turning into more of a mackerel girl these days--smoother easier eats. Mmmmgheasy to mix into other meals (eg indian puree packets, some leftover rice, grits, polenta, whatever) w a bonus dollop of olive oil.Also YES I shop for tinned fish I can safely share with the feline overlords bc WHY WOULD I NOT!!? and this fits that bill perfectly esp for my Boy who LOOOOOVEs olive oil and damn sure loooves these mackerel. I can't recall and WILL check the salt content--which is SO crucial to be careful of for our feline frenz ... but IIRC correctly i've shared these w kitty luv bc the salt content is reasonable too.

I’ve tried one tin so far and liked it added to a salad. It’s always a risk buying food or OTC pharmacy items from Amazon because of expired or soon to expire dates, but the 12 pack I ordered is 2029 so plenty of time to use them.

Great flavor, but compared to others this would be "chunk mackerel" or as they say on the can just mackerel. The one I had was tasty but just mash meat.

The Mediterranean style is SO good. One of the most tender and flavorful tins of fish I have ever had. The plain olive oil version is great too, less salty (half the sodium content than the former) and even more versatile. The Lemon and Jalapeño ones however have much firmer texture (presumably from the addition of acid/vinegar) — I much prefer adding a splash of real lemon juice myself if I want that zing.
