Original rating: 2 starsThe seller has reimbursed me due to my experience below.Let me preface this by saying we get a lot of squirrels coming by for seeds, which we generally don't mind, and just means we lose a lot of seed to them. Hasn't been an issue as the base unit is pretty sturdy.We've had this attachment for around a month, and while it's been ok, squirrels and birds will knock seeds into the flower holes, blocking them or becoming a sticky mess. Eventually squirrels started pulling out the yellow flower pins to get to seeds trapped in them, and actually broke one of the flowers. Now we're left with a bigger hole that will collect more debris. We've now removed it and reattached the standard perch.We liked the idea of this, but unfortunately it hasn't held up in our situation, so just be warned if you have similar visitors.

My daughter bought me the NETVUE Bird Camera for Christmas. I used it for bird seeds and mealworms at first. When I saw the hummingbirds were back, I put my hanging hummingbird feeder in front of the camera, but it didn't work very well. After doing some research, I found this hummingbird feeder attachment for the NETVUE Bird Camera! It's so fascinating to watch them. I know what time of day they feed, and I can slow the video down to get a good look. The attachment is easy to remove and clean. I have it right off of my deck for easy removal. The picture of this little guy was the first day I put up the NETVUE hummingbird attachment. He didn't know what to think at first, but now he's gotten the hang of it and went off to tell his friends!

Pros:Generally solid, mostly everything you need comes with it. The media could not be loaded.  We bought the Netvue bird feeder precisely because it has this hummingbird attachment and can thus also attract hummingbirds. The hummingbird feeder attracted hummingbirds quickly, and the hummingbirds and song birds took turns feeding for a while.That said, the smaller pieces of the songbirds’ seed quickly fell into the holes of the hummingbird feeder and clogged them. The hummingbirds then stopped visiting, and it was a bit of a hassle to clean. Also, I think a squirrel absconded with one of the detachable “flowers” on the feeder, and the company doesn’t include extras.For now, we’ve removed this attachment until we go through all of our current seed. Next time, we’ll try buying seed for the songbirds that’s too big to clog the holes of the hummingbird feeder. I’ll also look to buy some replacement “flowers” for the hummingbird feeder, I guess.

It's hard to get good pictures of a hummingbird, because they fly away as soon as they sense movement nearby. You can set up a tripod with remote shutter activation, but with the Netvue Birdfy Hummee you don't have to. The hummingbird automatically triggers the camera to generate a clear 10-second video that's fun to watch and share. From the video, you can capture individual still images. I'm glad that I bought this accessory for my Birdfy feeder.

Love my Birdfy but it got knocked over and the suet and hummingbird attachments broke off. I went online and Kelly was so helpful and is sending me new ones. Such a great product and great customer service!

This nectar feeder is great - once you realize that they put PLUGS on every hole, prohibiting the hummers from getting anything. Thank goodness it didn’t take the whole summer for me to realize this. Watching the videos of them coming, flitting from hole to hole, getting nothing is heartbreaking. If the company is going to do this, why on earth, would they not give instructions stating to remove them before installing???IMPORTANT UPDATE: Leaving original comments up. I heard from Sophia in Netvue support today. The “plugs” actually have an opening, still allowing for the hummer to get nectar, but keeping the ants, etc. out. I am so sorry for my ignorant original post.

Review revised because of the great customer service. Original review is still valid of the equipment.The Netvue camera and regular feeder are good. The hummingbird attachment is awful. It’s hard to remove/replace without making a mess with the hummingbird food. But the problem really is that it shows feeding both seed and nectar. Doesn’t work. Seed scatters and then fills up the ports in the feeder. Hummingbirds cannot feed. I wish I hadn’t wasted my money.on the attachment. You can feed birds or hummingbirds, but not at the same time.6/12/23. Amending this to report the company contacted me and is working with me on this matter. Very impressed with the customer service.

The media could not be loaded.  The hummingbird extension is a must buy for anyone that owns the Birdfy. This extension converts your Birdfy into a hummingbird feeder. It is amazing to watch beautiful hummingbirds visit your feeder. Videos and pictures are sent right to your phone. It’s easy to attach the extension and it fill the feeder. I chose to not use the seed compartment while using the hummingbird extension. I have submitted a video taken by my Birdfy using the hummingbird feeder so you can see how amazingly well it works.

I absolutely loved this for the first few days. Great concept but the holes get clogged with pieces of shells and seeds which makes it difficult for the hummingbirds to get the nectar***Netvue offered a refund. Great customer service!
