Good threading toy
This is a nice introduction to threading and sewing that I've enjoyed with my two-year-old. It hasn't become one of her go-to toys but it's a good one nevertheless. The illustrations are beautiful with very vibrant colours, just as they appear in the pictures. Each card is thick and robust enough to withstand an enthusiastic toddler where flimsier games and puzzles have suffered. The only thing letting this down very slightly is the packaging -- putting it away involves sliding it into a plastic sleeve which is a bit of a squeeze. Not enough to lose a star though.

Great quality and much played with
Super quality card and laces. Very popular with our grandson and still immaculate after six months use.

2nd birthday present
We bought this as a 2nd birthday present as the little one and her older sister are fans of the story.A great gift idea for encouraging fine motor skills.Warns of small parts but there are just coloured laces and the various cards to thread.

Great cards but some have an odd number of holes
The pictures really capture my 3 year olds attention. And she's able to thread a little bit. The threads do twist a bit so you have to be careful to make sure they are lying flat each time you them through a hole. The other thing that bothers me slightly is that some cards have an odd number of holes so you end up with one end of the string at the front of the picture when finished, which is not ideal. I mean, you could skip a hole to get around it, so it's not the end of the world. All in all though, they're lovely cards and I'd buy them again.

Perfect for little fingers!
I bought these lacing cards for my grand-daughter for her third birthday, as The Very Hungry Caterpillar is one of her favourite stories. They arrived promptly and well wrapped and were met with great enthusiasm from the birthday girl! They are brightly coloured and very sturdy, so should last well. Within minutes of unwrapping the cards, myself, my son and the b girl were all happily sitting together, threading away! :D I have been told, they are now a firm favourite so, all in all, a lovely present for a reasonable price!

Lunch time for caterpillars
This is another great addition to the growing hungry caterpillar story. The only problem with it was that all the children wanted to be the caterpillar and not the food. It gave them a chance to learn about turn taking. The cards are a good size and seem sturdy. It also makes a good display item when doing a topic of minibeasts. If you like the story you will like these. I would recommend these for children aged 3-7.

Amazing. Brought these for my 3 year old son, he loves them, engaged with the story and keen to see each one. Quality of product is excellent excellent although each image is printed on thick firm card
