Good book for helping with anxiety
I’m sure like many other children covid has impacted a lot of things inc going back to school or visiting large places with lots of people about - this book helps a child to talk about those fears/worries and shows them how to deal with them - was a great book when I was a child too - recommend this to anyone with a child having anxiety

Make worries melt away
I bought this for my son who has anxiety issues and couldn’t get to sleep for worrying. Lovely story which is easy for children to follow with colourful pictures to go along with the story. This book helped enormously with my sons worries. I’d definitely recommend it.

A childhood must
Bought as a Christmas present for my 8 year old niece who is struggling with anxiety/ worries. Did some research online and this came highly recommended. After a quick read through myself, I was quite impressed. I would definitely recommend for any nervous child, and would recommend the parent/carer have a read first, so you can be prepared for any questions, and as a listening ear.

Dated, not particularly helpful
I bought this book to help my daughter with a worry and wasn't overly impressed with it. It lists lots of possible worries which could introduce new worries that a child hadn't previously considered. It also feels pretty dated - it shows a girl looking in the mirror, worried that they're getting fat. Not really an idea I want to introduce and not appropriate nowadays! This went straight to the back of our bookcase and I avoid reading it/skip that page.We also bought Ruby's Worry which has a much more positive message, I would recommend that book instead of this one.

Brilliant for children with anxieties
Bought this for my foster child aged 6, she was very worried about the changes in her life and the anxiety was building up so reading this really cheered her up and made her happy then we made a worry monster to write our worries down and feed the monster so they go away.

Brilliant book
Such a great book with a powerful message behind it; encouraging children to recognise and talk about their bag of worries.

Wonderful story.
Helps children to see they do not need to carry the whole world on their shoulders.

Recommend for a child with anxiety. Great pictures and a way to start understanding worries and how to deal with them.
