Awesome trimmer, I use it for my face/beard twice a week. The blades are super sharp out of the box and can cause some hair pulling and knicks if you're not super careful, but they wear in after a few uses. I also used the blade oil that came with the unit which helps break it in as well. The trimmer in the hand feels nice and natural although I do wish there were some more grips and texture to hold onto as the smooth metal and plastic can get slippery with the blade oil and natural oil from hands. Battery life is outstanding and it charges super fast as well. The unit feels decently heavy and very durable. Only downside is the price, but I hope that this trimmer lasts a good 10 years. I ordered the corded version of this previously and while it's nicer and smaller, the heavy cord definitely gets in the way so I'll stick with the cordless.

trimmer works great its reliable battery lasts charges fast also light in hand and cuts so sharp when zero gapped works might have to adjust if heavy handed as it could cause irritation on skin but as a barber would buy again overall 10/10

I owned the “Peanut” but I hated plugging it in when I needed it.This is similar. It feels like much better quality (more durable). I just have it charging and use it every morning to trim and line up my beard.Even with this trimmer I still need to shave. It wasn’t as close of a trim as I was led to believe. However, it is still convenient. I have dark hair so maybe it’s just easier to see when I don’t shave.But it does make lining up my beard easier and more convenient. A little pricey for what it is. It’s a bit better than the “peanut” I had. And the size of this feels better in my hand.If you have the money to spare. This is a great upgrade. But if you’re looking for a shaving alternative this probably will not work. (Unless you have lighter thinner hair).

Listen! I've been cutting hair for 27+ years. I have used several trimmers. My usual go-to is the corded Andis T-Outliners, which i still own. I've even modified them to be as sharp as possible without irritating the skin. Due to my frequent travel, I get tired of uniquely rolling clipper cords in my cosmetic bag to prevent shortages. Therefore, I decided, it's time to convert to all cordless clippers and trimmers. Before purchasing these, I actually bought the BaByliss FX Pro Trimmer with the GTX deep tooth blade thinking it would do wonders on my extremely coarse hair...which also grows in whatever direction it pleases. After a few adjustments, I thought they were ok, but they weren't giving me the sharp lines like I had seen on countless YouTube vids. So, I decided to giving the old school Wahl brand timmers a try. Let me tell you, STRAIGHT OUT THE BOX with NO MODS, these trimmers are some HITTERS! They get the job done so fast, I'm sometimes finding myself not wanting to put them down. When I cut my son's hair, I asked him how does it feel and he replied, "I like these. They glide across my skin. Kind of tickles. It feels good." For an 8 y/o to enjoy a sharp trimmer "gliding across" his skin is almost a miracle.As a Black man with super curly, multidirectional facial and scalp hairs, I endorse this trimmer for those of you who have super coarse hair like me. The most pleasant surprise was that these came with a zero gapping tool (valued at about $21), 3 combs, and a blade guard which is super beneficial when protecting your blade while traveling.Needless to say, I returned the $175 BaByliss trimmers. My ONLY con is the boring color, but that's just me. Would've loved a navy or all silver option, I can be picky like that. I may even disassemble and paint myself, LOL. Either way, it was well worth the price and I'm happy with the purchase.

This is probably the worst thing I ever owned. It doesn’t hold a charge, so forget buying a travel case for it, unless you’re taking the charger with you.Even the charger sometimes doesn’t charge it, so you can’t use it.There is no off switch. Hence, why it probably doesn’t hold a charge .All in all, it’s an expensive product that is poorly designed. Definitely not profession grade. This is my first time buying a Wahl product, so I probably won’t by any from them if this is any indication of what I’m getting.
