Son is a drummer and also on university marching band Drumline. He strongly recommends them for their grip, sound quality and evenness, feel/weight distribution.

My teenaged son plays drums a minimum of one hour a day, but usually two full hours (7 days a week) and has done so for the last 6 years. After reading multiple reviews, I settled on these as an added item to his Christmas stocking this year. Being a drummer, he is frequently gifted drum sticks and we have multiple brands, sizes, and ones with and without the rubberized grip. Since receiving these sticks, I have not seen him touch another pair of sticks in his collection. He plays on both an electric kit and an acoustic and he says these sticks are the best pair he has ever owned. The wood grain is beautiful and we both love that they are made in the U.S. of high quality wood.

Great Quality and Sound

These sticks are great! The 7A size has a nice light feel in the hand and allows me to control the dynamics and gives me dexterity when used on an acoustic kit. They bring out great tone in the drums and cymbals. I used them in church within both soft songs and songs that build up to hard hits. I was able to control the dynamics throughout each song very well. I can hit the drums pretty hard and not be afraid of them breaking because they are durable. I am also able to move around the kit quickly because of the lightness of the 7A size. If your style of music requires you to hit hard most of the time, you probably should get 5A or bigger or a size you perfer to be safe about not breaking them. However, these sticks are very durable considering they're 7A. I love them. I will have to give them four stars only because I just got them and I don't know how well they'll hold up over time. Other than that, they are perfect.

I am a church drummer and have tried many sticks over the past few years. I have went from the ahead's with the replaceable tips to different wood types. These sticks last me quite a while and is a nice looking stick as well. I am a heavy hitter and don't always hit the cymbals correctly at time but these sticks hold up. The weight is perfect for me, but if I could design a stick it would be this one but maybe a inch or so longer. Overall great stick.

Grandsons love it

I have been a hard rock/metal drummer for a good number of years now and I used to always be a fan of Vic Firth, however, I used to chew through sticks in no time. Finally I found these and I haven't ever looked back. These sticks have some serious strength and definitely outlast any Vic Firth sticks I have had. They feel amazing, the weight and balance are perfect and you just can't go wrong with these. These are now my goto sticks and I will remain a loyal customer for the foreseeable future. As a heavy hitter naturally, the lighter sticks end up flying out of my hands whilst playing. With these though? They give me more control and weigh the hands down so to speak. All in all, a very exemplary pair of sticks.

Es la primera vez que uso baquetas 7A y la experiencia me está encantando. Se nota la diferencia de peso y grosor con respecto a las 5A y me estoy haciendo a ellas muy rápidamente.No puedo compararlas con otros modelos y marcas pero estas son muy suaves en cuanto a acabado y estéticamente me parecen muy bonitas.A mi, que me gusta pegarle fuerte, desde luego no parecen las más recomendables, pero creo que me están ayudando a modular mi manera de golpear (mi nivel técnico es bajo todavía) y me ayudan a mejorar técnicamente.No puedo valorarlas desde el punto de vista de la durabilidad porque las he usado apenas 3 veces, pero es cierto que parece que van a durar menos que las otras, pero insisto en que creo que es por mi manera de golpear que está pendiente de pulir seguramente.No renuncio a las 5A, pero las 7A me están gustando mucho.
