If you want a mild sedative, relaxing tea this is great. I enjoy it without any additives. If I am making a large cup I might add a vanilla bean flavored tea as well. I occasionally need something like this to help me to let go of all the drama of the day and it works well.

Love this product. I use it every Sunday to calm the anxiety I have upon starting another work week.

I was excited to try this since the description and company seemed promising, but this might be h the e worst box of tea I’ve ever purchased. I thought maybe I had an unfortunate bad batch, but I see from other reviews that this is a reoccurring theme. So weak and flavorless no matter how long I let it steep. I even tried two bags and it didn’t make much of a difference. Yogi and others are better.

on nights when it seems like I can’t go to sleep I use this tea and I go to sleep within 30 minutes after taking it amazing! In my opinion, the tea taste like nothing I add honey and lemon to give it flavor and make it easy to drink. This tea is definitely a good price and works even better.

My yogi kava was out of stock at the store so I tried this one. First cup of it didn’t seem to steep right and there was zero flavor. I opened the tea bag the second time to let the tea brew in the water better. I had to use my tiny coffee strainer to remove the residual. It’s just ok. Nothing like the yogi brand.

I buy this all the time. It helps me go to sleep. And I don't feel groggy in the morning. Highly recommend!

While it wasn't quite what I expected, this is a decent tea. I ordered this without reading the description, so I thought that I was getting regular peppermint tea and Kava was a brand name. It was quite jarring to find the warning labels on this (tongue numbness, may cause drowsiness, not for use in pregnant or breastfeeding women, etc.) If you are like me and didn't read the description carefully- this isn't just peppermint!That being said, this is an okay tea. I followed the brewing directions and found it to be rather weak, with the primary flavor being a sweet, chalky flavor from the coconut sugar. I wasn't able to identify any peppermint or whatever kava root tastes like. While it was pleasant enough to drink, it was an unremarkable tea that I likely won't go back to.As for the effects, I didn't experience anything in the warning labels. No drowsiness or relaxation past what is typical for drinking a nice cup of tea.Overall, if you're drinking this for the medicinal benefits and they work for you, this is probably a fine tea. If you like to drink tea for the flavor, I would recommend skipping this one. The flavor is weak and unremarkable and the warning labels are rather alarming for a typical cup of tea.
