Phones, P.D.A.s, multi-tool, or flashlights are often worn on a belt. Now your wallet can be worn in the same convenient & secure way. Instead of weighing down your pockets, our exclusive wallet uses a military-grade steel belt-clip with a tip made to hook under the belt edge making it difficult to remove by anyone but the wearer. Turn it around to wear it under the belt, or even inside the waistband with only the clip on the outside - it's virtually unreachable by thieves. The wallet is made of perforated action leather (the material used in high-end athletic sneakers) while it is genuine leather, a special coating makes it much more liquid-repellant and less prone to wrinkling over time. The perforated pattern gives it a contemporary, automotive-inspired look. Not only an indispensable travel companion, it's also an ideal accessory to tailored suits - why have your wallet break the line of your pants when it can stay neatly clipped on your belt under your blazer. You will find countless advantages to this design, such as clipping it to the side pockets on the inside of a bag to keep it from dropping to the bottom, or onto a car's sun visor. It can also be used while on your belt which gives you one-handed access while you use your other hand at the grocery store, etc.

Like the description says
I was looking for a water proof wallet that would not fall apart if I wore it while out mowing lawns and getting sweaty. It has fit the bill.Like the description says, it does not absorb sweat. Despite being worn while I was mowing lawns and drenched in sweat, it is still in use twelve years later. My wife has washed it twice and the wallet came out fine both times. This thing takes a beating. One thing I did not like about the wallet is the clip. I don't need it and knew I would remove it when I ordered the wallet. The clip came out with moderate effort and the removal did not damage the wallet. Some people complain that the wallet is too small to fit all of their cards. That was true for me, but turned out to be a blessing. I took out the cards I had not used in years and now I do not sit on a super thick wallet. It holds everything I need on a regular basis and is very convenient. My previous wallet was nylon with a velcro closure. I liked it, it worked well and lasted a long time. The velcro closure was its ultimate undoing. The closure just wore out and the wallet was no longer practical. The civilian magnetic closure appears to be made to last forever. It closes better ten years in that it did when it was brand new. When it was new, the watch was slightly stiff, so the magnets did not touch and there was not as strong a bond. Now the closure is perfect.ProsWater proofOdor proofVery durableConvenient, compact sizestrong magnetic closureConsDid have a short break in periodNot super large (pro and con)Clip was inconvenient for me (though fairly easy to remove)

7 Years & Counting...
I purchased this via Amazon in 2009. More than 7 years later, it is still going strong. I wear it everyday.Pro's:- Durable: I prefer a leather wallet and they always lasted a couple of years before the interior stitching would fail, etc. My Civilian is still going strong after 7 years.- Riveted Belt Clip - if you're going to trust your wallet to hold in place, I do not want to want to add stress by worrying that the clip might break - I have never had to worry.- Multiple options - placement: I place mine along my front waistband, tucked inside with clip outward. Almost never in my backpocket - which, as you probably know, is better for your spine when sitting. This change was worth the price of the wallet alone.- Superior for travel: no worries about pick-pockets. SOmeone would have to be pretty bold to try & take this wallet off your person.- Magnets, not Velcro: nothing says "I'm 12 years old" like hearing that Velcro rip open when you're about to check out at Home Depot.- Key pocket - on the outer flap, a standard house key will fit. It isn't super-secure for long-term storage, but it will hold one.- Compact but still holds bills: Despite being a trifold, all US currency fits at full-length, which saves time & allows quick access. Holds normal paper checks as well. Some are complaining about how much it will hold - I can get 3 payment cards, license, 4 membership cards (AAA, etc) & 3-4 business cards without it seeming overly full. If you overfill it, the magnets won't touch. Pretty straight-forward.Cons:- Buckle/Belt-Clip Edge: if you wear this inside a back pocket or sit on it (again, not recommended), the clip can slowly wear whatever it is pressed up against - like your leather car seat. It could also wear down the interior lining of a pant pocket, if the clip faces your backside. But again, I think the ideal placement is in front.- Magnets not 100% secure: you may be in a situation where it absolutely, positively must stay closed - in that case, you may want a super-secure travel or scuba wallet, but for most, it will do the job.- Belt-Clip Metal: can set off metal detectors, but this is pretty minor, Most ask you to empty your pockets anyway.- Occasional Looks: every once in a while, when you're checking out, the clerk may watch more closely as you reach to remove your wallet from your front waistline. To alleviate this issue, I will often remove the wallet just before checking out.Hope this is helpful. I plan on replacing mine one day. In fact, I have one sitting in my "Save For Later" cart. I felt like I owed Civilian a review. I threw in a couple of pics - 7 years on.

Awesome materials and concept- well crafted wallet
The perforated leather? on this product is awesome. It is not clingy and doesn't show wear a bit. The wallet itself is well designed (just make sure to keep an eye on how you put/position your credit cards etc as the magnets on this bad boy are pretty strong. The curve on the bottom does help when positioning inside the pants (i tend to keep mine on the side of my leg, the wallet rides a bit too high to have it up front on the waistband as it makes sitting a bother)....the see through window (on the inside) for ids is made of a mesh that wont rip/stain or warp like the plastic ones that come in most wallets...The clip is super strong and I cant imagine bending/or detaching through normal use. The only flaw the wallet has (imo) is the lack of a divider in the bill compartment (which is very deep and well designed otherwise- cash will not be falling out of this one) as I carry foreign currency at times and would like to keep them separated. Great item!

The magnets are not strong enough or secured properly. The female magnet pulled out.
Two years ago this wallet was built like a tank and thinner. Was time for a new one...I exchanged this "new" wallet 3x times. The magnets did not align on the first two and one female magnet pulled out on the third. I put her back in with a few small dots of super glue gel and it is now built better than before. Amazon did help to appea$e me for having to fix this 3rd wallet.

Premium Quality & Secure Tri-fold Leather Wallet - A Must Have!
This medium security 'clip-on' leather tri-fold wallet will attach securely to almost anything with it's Military-grade steel clip. This is my first purchase of a Civilian product and I'm already impressed, with the high-quality, design and function of this tri-fold wallet. This is a great Gift for all ages and will be a great addition for women as well, since it's almost 'palm-size' can be accessed easily with one hand.Pros - Top Quality, Light-weight, secure closures (no velcro), Clip-on on Car/Truck visors, Back pak D-rings, Bags, Coat pockets (inside), Moisture-resistance materials (ballistic), fine mesh ID window. Holds cards, ID, cash, & 1 key. 'In the Field', it could also be used as an Emergency Signal device, since the clip & rivets are Chrome.Cons - Only wished it had a secret divider or flap, like one of my other wallets.
