Old ass beans
These beans were so old, even after soaking overnight and cooking for 3 hours, they were still tough and crumbly. Best of 1990, I guess?? We had to toss out the whole lot, after cooking the first lb.

I have ordered this product 3 or 4 times. I have tried many pinto beans, but these are by far the best that I have had.I even ordered in February and they put a heart sticker on it and I got it on Valentine's day... I loved this little piece of personality!It was a very welcomed sight on such a day.I live in Missouri and also like the idea that they are grown so close to home.
