You should have one of these
Light weight, cute, tuning easy, build nicely, powerful, volume good,like the size , batteries last long time, and my husband loved it for his work. Thank you. Great for an emergency also.

Good little radio for storm shelter
Sounds good for such a small radio. It picks up signal like I need it to for when the power goes out and I need to listen to the radio for weather updates.

Transistor Glory; Sounds about right
This is a transistor radio that uses AA batteries. It plays as long as the batteries have "juice", then the volume falls and its time for a new set. I have a radio that is rechargeable and it just goes- OFF - when the charge ends. I like this better. The Goodes has an easy channel roller, and the stations come in strong..of course, I'm in a major metro area. Your reception may vary. The sound? Well, if you are looking for hi-fi, or mid-fi, this ain't it. It sounds like a plastic AM transistor radio: Acceptable. It doesn't make the voices sibilant, and the FM- well, you know the song let your brain fill it in the fidelity. Look, it's good for what it is and it is inexpensive. It works well in the garage and at the beach. So I give it 4 (four) stars. You won't think you overspent. Enjoy.

Good reliable portable radio
I brought it before and my mom love it so I brought another one again as the old one is getting old it’s a good radio with am/fm radio station and good speakers too

Good bang for the buck, good receiver.
I got this radio for an emergency supplies bag. I tested it for a few days. Works very well. Is stored away. When I need it, it will be there. Batteries stored separately. In retrospect I would have opted for a similar model that also had the weather radio band. Price wasn't so different. I have weather radios already but as a back-up it would have been nice.

Great Little Radio
Perfect for emergencies, left on to ease my cats anxiety when I am not at home. Amazing price and just an important item to have on hand. Very pleased.

Works well
This is a little brasher sound than my last radio but the speaker is good enough for the price. The antenna is a nice length too allowing some better reception. The selector switch for off/fm/am could be better designed as it may be too flat for some folks. The tuner wheel is tight so that it doesn't drift off station (my last radio did this alot). It gets nice volume. Really this a good travel pocket radio.
