This trinket box does not disappoint. It is unique, adorable and striking. The gold part (ie the elephant's ears) aren't the vibrant gold the advertised photos suggest it is but that's a very minor criticism.It's very sparkly and colorful! It certainly seems sturdy and well made. The inside, I believe, is meant to hold one ring or perhaps a necklace but it can hold a but more. That noted, this was purchased to present a ring to a friend and she was thrilled with it--I think she liked this more than the ring! I don't blame her, it really is the most lovely item.I highly recommend this item.

I have ordered many of these Waltz&F trinket boxes as gifts before and all of them gorgeous. This one looks like a child painted it. There was not even enough paint to cover the elephant. It looks dreadful. Parts of the metal are showing through all over. I will definitely be sending this back.
