Best Socks Found since "pride and concern for craftsmanship/quality" - used to be - important to U S corporations.If you like (or need) to keep your legs warm, (arthritis) these are it! For many, they'll cover the knee cap and they stay there!Best of all, the material is comfortable, breathable, TOUGH and longer lasting than ALL other brands. Hence, paying the extra money is definitely worth it, as these have already tripled in duration of use of ALL the cheapos and even some of the higher priced products and they're still not beginning to wear thin, tear or puncture.Bought two packs roughly a year apart. Can't distinguish which are the newest ones and they get used and washed at least once a week.Getting a year out of a pair of socks is incredible enough, but the fact the year old socks look as good as the newest ones, makes these worthy of much praise! That's from someone who was needing to replace Chinamart socks every couple months! These will easily last three or more years at the rate they're NOT WEARING OUT!We tried the Wigwam Men's Super 60 Tube Socks, because of the raving reviews on Amazon and were terribly disappointed. They wore to being see-thru in less than three months - (almost as bad as Chinamarts Hanes' and Dickies) Hence, the Wigwams definitely don't compare to these Gold Toes' in any way except they cost the same. . . .Of course, as most of you have, we too have been through all the Hanes, Dickies and other trash Chinamart dumps on it's customers locally. All of which are such embarrassingly POOR quality, when compared to these Gold Toes', they needn't be mentioned beyond saying they ought to be ashamed of producing such garbage and Chinamart should be run out of town for their newest policy of "Pay the highest price for the lowest quality . . . Always" And of course, their long running anti-United States policy of "Always Buy Chinese." Sam has to be rolling in his grave!Nothing against Chinese People, they're just doing what walMART - the United States' Capitalist-destroying monopoly asks of them.As for these, "American" made, (United States and Canada) socks "Gold Toe Men's Ultra Tec OTC 3 Pack Extended Sock, White, 13-15," from Gold Toe, they clearly have the kind of pride in corporate leadership that correctly, trickles down throughout the workers attitudes, and is the hallmark of true and honest successful capitalism. Gold Toe has every reason to call themselves a leader in that regard and in quality products. I feel it's important to bring that out to corporations who are doing things right, before they fall into the one world order of things like Hanes and so many others have.Without a doubt, these are the absolute best made, best comfort, best all around quality sock our family has used in decades!By the way, the infamous Wigwam's as noted above with such great reviews, were bought the same time as these, and ALL are full of holes or in the trash already. They (the Wigwams) were clearly made from a very poor quality material.All in all, the Gold Toe is on their second year of rough use and not a single spot even wearing thin!Don't change A THING GOLD TOE!

What's not to like, wanted over the calf sock, check, wanted a sock that didn't crush my foot with compression, check. Ok my initial search was for men's black over the ankle cotton socks without compression to crush my foot. A standard black cotton no frills sock, I didn't want any sort of compression, good luck finding them. The black sock is to match my black New Balance sneakers, black because they stay cleaner looking wearing them in a warehouse while I work, FYI: this idea of a black sneaker idea works amazing versus white sneakers...anyway back to the sock review, lol. These over the calf socks have no compression on the foot but have some even, mild, compression from over the ankle to up and over the calf area. Alone, these black over the calf socks feel like very minor compression socks and stay up. I actual wear over the calf compression socks and wear these black socks on top of them. My size foot is a 9-10", the fit is perfect, the sock is on the thick side and very well made, I highly reccomend. (Note: because they are 80%+ cotton, I re-shape and air dry after washing. Air dry will eliminate any shrinking. I'm a warm/cold water washing machine user, these socks have mantained there original size and feel each time after washing and air drying. very good quality sock++)

Very comfortable & heavy socks. They are like compression socks, so fit smugly. They stretch so they don’t fall down. I would recommend them.

These are just what I was looking for. Socks that ACTUALLY reach over the calf. There's will go over my knee if I pull them up to their highest point. Which I don't do, but I like that their long enough even after washing. They are also pretty thick. I haven't had any issues and plan on buying more of these when needed.

Price is good and quality good also. They do run long which is just what we wanted.

THICK, SOFT, WARM, DURABLE

I have been wearing the GOLDTOE Men's Ultra Tec Performance Over-The-Calf socks for the last 10 years. I am on blood thinners and I wanted to buy some compression socks. My wife bought these after reading the reviews. The last thing I want from an over-the-calf sock is for it to fall down.Well, you'll NEVER have that with GOLDTOE. These are legendary and they stay in place. Compression socks can leave your legs aching by the end of the day. But you'll never have that feeling with GOLDTOE.Plus they make for great socks no matter what shoes you are wearing. Steel-toe boots, sneakers, dress shoes, or even Crocs...these the the best socks on the market. And this is why I spend a little more money on them b/c I know they will last.

They arrived on time as promised and in good shape. 50 years ago, we used to get knee-length cotton athletic socks, and I loved the way they feel and the support. Since then, everything seems to have gone to a high percentage of polyester, which drives my skin crazy. These are 80% cotton, very comfortable to wear all day even at 100+ degrees, and fit right up to my knee (6' tall, large but not huge calf). It is like finding an old friend (without the colored stripes). Some have been on and off over a dozen times, washed, and still feel great.

Best socks I have ever owned. Great fit, they stay up and have enough elasticity to act as light compression socks. If I were still in the infantry I would have these socks to wear all the time. Exceeded my expectations.

I am 6'2" and this socks fits me perfectly reaching right upto the knees. Perfect size. It's very light material making it absolutely comfortable even when it covers your entire calf. The soft material of the socks add to the comfort. Highly recommended for those who are looking for OTC socks
