So much better than spray dry shampoo, seriously! I’d have never thought so, but trying is believing. The smell is just intoxicating, but not overpowering. Makes my hair look thick and full. Buildable and no white flaking like with some dry powders, and not animal tested. Win-Win! Def my fav go to dry shampoo powder! Worth the price, a little goes a long way and small bottle lasts a long time.

The first time I used the Aveda Shampowder, I used entirely too much product and my hair was straight up gross. It didn't feel like hair, but it did have a lot of volume. I wound up watching a Youtube tutorial on how to apply it. Hair parted in small sections, the bottle squeezed lightly in the center, delivering a light "puff" of product. Applying it the correct way made a huge difference. I had shaken the bottle in globs all over sections of hair. I have tried quite a few powder dry shampoos trying to find my "holy grail" so I can stop using my favorite aerosol. This one comes close. The two things I don't like about it, the price and the scent. It's one of the more expensive dry shampoos tried, even though it does work and will probably last quite a while in powder form. The scent is light, but I am someone that suffers from scent triggered migraines and the scent of this is right on the edge of being a problem for me. With that being said, I probably will purchase again when I run out.

YES. Buy this now. This is the only dry shampoo to ever work for me. I have tried countless brands and kinds. I used to have to wash my hair everyday due to how greasy it would look, but now I am able to get away with every other day or even every third day. I put on at night before I go to bed and then only use a little in the morning. I could not recommend this product enough.
