Love it!
Great sound from the built in speaker, speed is very even, plays new and old records without issue. Use it all the time and no issues so far. Will take Bluetooth incoming so you can play music from your phone and use this as a speaker. It also does Bluetooth out so will connect with speakers and headphones. Probably need to check if they’re compatible first as I have an extremely old and cheap Bluetooth speaker and they won’t connect - but haven’t tried it on decent speakers/headphones.

quite good as a cheap starter
Pretty sturdy, I was pretty skeptical originally since I bought a second hand one, but it was litterally perfect. the biggest annoyance is the platter isnt the full size of record and the tonearm isnt adjustable, but Im lazy and having an audiotechnica needle so the sound is picked up well/ not damaging to records is enough for me at the moment. The speakers dont get awfully loud but still really love it its very nice to relax with

The media could not be loaded. The sound quality on the record player is very good it's my first player and I am very pleased with t it's easy to set up. and use I am pleased it has the ability audio techinica caridge for this reason the needle will last longer and so I would recommend in my opinion you don't need speakers with this as the players speakers are excellent sand it has a good volume just a warning be careful with the lid as it can sometimes get in the way but I am really enjoying listening to records and the music sounds better on vynle the lid has since come off but can be used withoutthe lid can be reattached if hinge is not broken had this since December 29th used every day since would highly recommend

Excellent wee record player.
I wanted a record player for my summer house and this fitted the bill perfectly. Reasonably priced, decent cartridge and sounds great through external speakers. Never been a fan of built in speakers but they do their job. Looks great too.

Good value for the price
As has been noted by other reviewers, the plug is non standard for the UK, and an LP touches the lid. For the former, I ordered a 5v replacement lead. For the latter, it was a case of removing the lid when playing an LP. The sound quality isn't brilliant, as there are no EQ controls other than volume. However, when I connected it to an old Sony iPod dock the quality improved considerably. There was also a slight improvement when playing through an Echo dot bluetooth speaker. If you are purchasing RCA connection leads, make sure they are the 'slimmer' ones, otherwise they won't fit the sockets on the record deck. The only other problem I've encountered is when playing a 45. The player stops when the arm reaches a certain position, which happened to be before the end of the record. To overcome this, you need to set the Auto On/off switch to Off. Not ideal, as the deck is still spinning when you take the record off, unless you flick the switch again when you place the arm back in its cradle. (The same problem may occur with LPs, but I haven't encountered it yet.)

Good as a second turntable.
This record player provides a very listenable experience. The Audio Technica cartridge puts this in a different league to other players or turn tables in this price range. The built in speakers are ok for casual listening but connect it up to a good quality HiFi or powered speakers and you get a much better quality of sound. I won't be using the built in speakers myself, they are just a small bonus for me.The turntable mechanism is one of those BSR style ones but it just goes to show when done right these mechanisms can provide decent output. The speed stability is fine there's no noticeable wow and flutter. The cartridge tracks perfectly at the rated limit of 3.5 grams. There's no counterbalance to adjust, I suspect it uses a spring to set the tracking but I can't find a way to access it. I prefer not to have the cartridge track at the upper range personally but the tracking force is in spec unlike other turntables in this price range. It also means that there's no need for anti skate as this design doesn't need it.I bought this to use as a second turntable in another room to where I keep my HiFi system. I would recommend it as a second or spare player. If you have a high quality HiFi I'd recommend buying something to match it's quality. Though this is a very competent player and won't disappoint if you just want something simple that won't damage your records.Bluetooth functions work fine and you can stream from and to other Bluetooth systems or speakers. It has two RCA connectors to connect to speakers or a HiFi.It has an auto stop function so if you forget about a record that's playing, it won't leave your stylus banging about in the lead out groove. It can play 33,45 and 78s but if you want or need to play 78s I'd recommend you buy the appropriate stylus. Since the cartridge accepts standard stylus you can easily find replacements or ones for 78s easily. All in all a decent player and much better than the usual ceramic stylus equipped suitcase players you can get for the same kind of price.

Great sound on a budget
I am a small collector of very niche vinyls, such as limited editions of bands I like or video game and movie sound tracks. So I wasn’t looking to invest heavily in a record player that may not be used often. The sound quality, craftsmanship and feel of this record player is great however, the only real let down is the dust cover, which just feels cheaply made. The rest of it is top notch!
