Okay, so I’m a NEAT freak who enjoys cleaning. I’ve got the Dyson vacuum, got a steamer for my cork floors and the TikTok viral spinning mop thing w/ separate clean and dirty water compartment. But nothing has been able to get the stains off my rugs!I own 3 pets, 2 dogs and a cat. Dogs are doodles, no shedding, cat sheds a bit. But over the years my older pup has mistaken the rug as a pee pad and we’ve done our best to upkeep and maintain stains and smell.Lo and behold, parents are out of town for 3 weeks and I find myself with 9 animals. 4 dogs and 5 cats. It’s a zoo. Yes, I know. Thank god I don’t have kids, to add to this mix.A plumber came over and complimented how my house didn’t stink. Thanks to my amazing air purifier from Coway. I accidentally unplugged it cleaning, and forgot to plug it back in. Weather is getting hotter.. so I leave to gym and come home, BAM!Got hit with the strongest dog smell, urine, cat litter and animal house smell. I gagged. From the runner to my guest room, it all smelled. I couldn’t take it anymore.Did my research and Hoover came in #1. Price isn’t bad at all, considering I got quoted $1000 to have a professional clean my 7 rugs. Ordered it last night in bed and got it at my door TODAY before 3p.Started cleaning rug 1, my gawd! It’s so gross but so so so satisfying to see the amount of gunk that this thing sucks out. It’s 10pm, I just finished 5 rugs and my house looks entirely different.There’s a really big rug in my bedroom that’s never been cleaned. The amount of crap this Hoover baby got out was amazing!Cleaning and sucking out dirt and god knows what, 1000000%.Now, it also dries well. Usually carpets are damp for a good 24-48 hours, and it starts to smell… this soaks the entire rug and leaves it maybe 5% dampness from the 80% soak from shampoo function. Fine by me! If you’re gonna do it at home and have cork floors like mine, just do it during the day so it has time to dry with the sun. Shouldn’t take more than a few hours tops.It’s the best thing I’ve ever invested in and just the most satisfying chore, I can’t believe I didn’t invest in this sooner. I already have friends asking to borrow it. It’s on par to a rental you get at Vons, except it’s yours!Sure you have to fill the water a bunch of times and dump the dirty water, so what? Are people that lazy they’re going to take a star away just because they can’t run back and forth a dozen times? Cmon..I haven’t done anything else it can do outside of carpets, I’m exhausted today. But you bet I’m going after my furniture next!Moral of the story is — BUY IT! It’s not just hot girl summer but clean girl summer baby.

I have been using this carpet cleaner for 6 months now. Very happy with the purchase. It is very light so easy to maneuver unlike my previous carpet cleaner. It is so easy to use this cleaner and I highly recommend it. The only thing that broke was the cord holder. I just used superglue and glued the cord holder back. The things that's awesome about this product:1) Has clean as well as rinse function. After cleaning with carpet detergent, the rinse function removes all chemical residues from carpet.2) The rotating brush can easily be removed for cleaning. I have a dog in the house so hairs does clog up the rotating brush. Clean brush after use.3) Rinse function is the best. Just set the button to rinse and you're done. No need to change fluids for cleaning or rinsing.4) My carpet installer stated that heavily soiled area can never be cleaned. He was wrong. I spray chlorox cleaner on the carpet and let it sit for 1 hr. Then I used the machine rinse function to clean the heavily area. The soiled area looks like new! My carpet is made from rayon so chlorox will not affect the color. Test chlorox on very small area of your carpet first to make sure the color will not fade.

I've purchased 2 different machines that were junk one was Bissell...one was a small Hoover! Took a chance on this and took a risk buying used/open! This machine WORKS! Not only does it work it doesn't leak everytime you change the water!! The attachments are awesome! For whatever reason I got a spinning brush attachment even though its not shown in the description and thats my favorite! Its a little shocking that I used a subpar machine 4 months ago ...Then this one today and my water is black!! That tells me the other was a piece of junk! (Which I knew) but more of a piece of junk than I thought! This one has a big tank so less dumping/changing and carpet dries much faster! I can't recommend this one enough! Buying used/open it just cost a little over $100! Best deal I've had in years!!!! A+++++++

This is my third Hoover carpet cleaner—my first was purchased in the late 90s and it lasted 12 years (it was damaged in a move). The second was an All-Terrain 12-amp and still runs and looks like new after 16 years (of more than average use), but could not find a water tank replacement and purchased this 10-amp model.This model is better than other brands by far (I’ve used my adult childrens’ carpet shampooers and was disappointed it was nowhere near as effective or powerful as my Hoovers). It has some features that the older models did not that make it easier and quicker to set up and clean up! It has powerful extraction and is much lighter weight than my previous Hoover machines. The silicone mat and accessories bag are a nice addition.BUT, what I wouldn't give to have the 12-amp, rubber-wheeled, control switches ontop of the handle for rinse only and power, heavier weighted and longer cord, the all-terrain setting for tile, carpet, and wood floors, the spinning power scrubber compartment, the baseboard combs on the corners with denser plastic construction and auto-suction-shutoff when the extraction tank becomes full.Overall, with what is available on the market today, I am pleased to have this option from Hoover, but if they had the equivalent of my previous machines—I’d buy it in a heartbeat even if more expensive!
