I thought the spec said the bulb was 11-1/2 inches…sometimes ...
I thought the spec said the bulb was 11-1/2 inches…sometimes the specs include the packaging.. it is only 8-1/2, so the light center does not reflect off my conical shades nearly as well as the longer bulbs i replaced. It is now more of a spotlight at 14 ft above floor, than a surround light.Be careful what you order.

Good Experience
So far so good, I have put them in and they light up and they continue to put out light so now the long wait to see how long they last. Metal Halide generally last several years. I will definitely be ordering again when I need more.

Returned, they came marked as 400w but they were smaller than the existing bulbs and soooo much dimmer,
