Southwest Specialty Products 40005C Liquid Wrench Diversion Can Safe

I bought 2 of these and thought I'd get 2 Liquid Wrench cans of 2 different colors...they were both yellow so somewhat disappointed. The can itself is very realistic and the inner glass jar is solid and roomy so excellent quality. The rim at the bottom is not sharp at all. The Liquid Wrench can "blends in" whether it's outside in your garage, inside your tool shed with paints and tools, in your tool box, in your car with a crate of shop towels, a jack, car wash supplies, etc... and the Liquid Wrench can even look right in place under your sink with cleaning products. Perfect for keeping money, jewelry, or an extra house or car key.

I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to write one here. I purchased this for my parents to be able to safely hide some cash in their house, since they dont have a safe. This is incredibly well made. When you pick it up, it has some weight to it, and it swishes around as if it had oil in it. The bottom opening, closes up and you cannot see the seam at all. The put it up on the shelf in their garage, along with tools and other products, bottles, etc. and it completely hides in plain sight. Very well made, and very pleased!

I am beyond pleased with this diversion can! The can is IDENTICAL to the popular oil sold in any hardware section and has ZERO visual cues that it isn't what it seems to be. When you pick it up, it's heavy enough to feel like the can has roughly 15-20% of the "oil" left in it. It even contains an isolated compartment of powder inside so that when you shake it, it sounds like there is liquid in it! The false bottom connects to the body of the can seamlessly with ZERO visual indications of a false bottom, even when examining very closely. In my opinion, the only indicator that this isn't what it seems to be is when you take off the cap and depress the spray nozzle, naturally, nothing comes out. That's IT. Otherwise, it is entirely convincing. See my attached pictures for more details. I would absolutely recommend this product! Please note that the graphics on the cans that ship are updated to reflect the changes in the actual brand of oil. The picture shown in the product listing as of this writing shows the previous can design.

PROs:- Proper size and good graphics. Similar, if not identical, to intended product.- Includes rattle to mimic that found in intended product.- Screw cap on bottom seems secure and is hidden.CONs:- Opening on bottom is sharp! Extra care needs to be taken when inserting and removing safe items. Would have been nice if deburred.- Rattle sound is a bit light. A minor point.OTHERs:The cap on mine was yellow, not blue.The internally-threaded screw cap and rattle component take up about a 1/2" space at bottom and a bit at top. Just be aware that only about 80-85% of can is available for actual storage.Overall, a good product that meets the purpose. I would purchase this item again.

You would never know this is not the real thing. My boyfriend uses it when he needs to transport his weed in the car after purchasing it from the dispensary. Keeps the smell from stinking up the car and keeps it safe. Does not hold a lot though. If you plan on using it for an ounce it won’t be big enough.

It looks and feels like a normal can. After inspecting it, my family said they don't see anything unusual about this can and asked why I had purchased Liquid Wrench Oil! The bottom screws in very tightly and leaves no marks. Some of the reviews said the edge was a bit sharp, and mine was fine. It's well made inside and a perfect diversion safe. I use it on the daily basis. Very cool!The only con that I would say is that it's a bit small. I have to fold the cash in half. Otherwise, small valuables like keys and cash fit.

I didn't realize I actually had a "real" can of this stuff until the decoy arrived. What I received was a little different from the photo, but I don't care, as long as it looks authentic and it does in my opinion. There is a lot of room inside, at least plenty for what I wanted it for. Yes, the edge could cut you if you're not careful and thanks to other reviews, I am aware and was careful. I do believe it's necessary to make this as authentic in appearance as possible. After I got it I took it outside and scuffed it up on the concrete, then I rolled it around in the dirt several times for added affect! Now it's in plain site in an area where I keep other similar items in my home.

It's neat. It looks real. It fooled my buddy who needed some wd40 for his bike. So I gave it a low rating for price...not for function. Cause the function is exceptional! It looks real as it gets. But to me...it's not worth the price.
