SO GOOD!
Loved all the breadcrumbs, clues and details in this game! My husband and I have played lots of these types of games and this was the best one we’ve played yet. Will definitely be purchasing the other ones from this company!

Excellent family game night!
The information that was provided was really authentic and professional… Like a real newspaper, a real syringe, photographs… It gave the feeling of actually solving a crime. I don’t want to give anything away, but when we figured out that every single detail mattered, we had a blast! It took six adults about 2 1/2 hours to solve it. I will confess that I couldn’t help but look online at the lost files, which was an excellent resource to give first vague, then detailed hints and finally solutions. There’s no reason to get stuck. This was super fun and I highly recommend it!

Fun but some of the clues don’t work
I enjoyed this but we had a couple issues with it. One of the primary clues, which was supposed to reveal other info essential to solving the crime, no longer works. SPOILER ALERT: It is a phone number that has apparently expired or no longer is being used. It is supposed to redirect you to a mailbox or something similar, but instead it reads you an error code that means nothing to the game. There also seemed to be a couple other smaller plot holes that weren’t quite as important but that we noticed. We still had fun but it would have been nice to have been able to play it correctly and experience all the clues properly. I’ve played a few of these case files games but this one I wouldn’t gift just because it is faulty in this way.

Great for girls game night
Challenging, but not impossible. Perfect for a fun game night and also suitable for teens.

Good price, lacked interest
Price was great. Cheap for one of these games. Not my favorite, I didn’t get interested in the plot.

Great game -- keeps you engaged.
You can approach solving this several ways. Very organized, great materials and resources to work with. For sure buying another one.

My family had so much fun and was totally engaged!
This is a great game for families with older kids! With distractions, snack breaks, and frequent stops it probably took us 2-3 hours to solve it. I don’t want to give anything away, but I’ll say that using the internet/websites added a cool layer. I feel like the 14 and up age range is pretty accurate, but my 14 year old still needed a good bit of guidance. Older teens and adults are probably the sweet spot. We’re ready for our next one!! I’m a fan of anything that gets my family away from screens and mindless scrolling.
