I bought this mainly for my husband, he’s a very hot sleeper and I haven’t been able to find bedding to keep him cool, with out me freezing. (We have the ceiling fan, a fan on the night stand, and a bigger fan at the end of the room. Just to give you an idea how serious he takes this) I put this blanket (king size) on the bed and our duvet over. He sleeps under the blanket and tosses the duvet off him. he sleeps much better this way. He doesn’t over heat, and it’s a light, airy blanket that he can be comfortable under. I also sleep under the blanket, and have the duvet on me. We both think it’s a super comfortable blanket. It’s soft, but has like a cozy feel to it. I would even say it’s luxurious. I’m super high maintenance about having that luxurious/cozy “hotel bed” that you can just sink in to, and I’d say this blanket meets my standards. Now, as far as the blanket being cooling/breathable/airy - I would say it stands up to that claim. It doesn’t over heat, or make you feel hot underneath. I’ve noticed sleeping under the blanket (and my duvet) that I can stay warm, but not hot. However if I do move to a new spot of the bed, then it does feel cold under the blanket until my body heat warms it up. So I usually stay in the same spot. LolThere are squares on the blanket that you can practically stick a slim object through (if you pick at it or forcefully mess with it) but I think that’s why the blanket is so airy and breathable. Maybe keep dogs/cat off the blanket so their nails don’t get caught. But I don’t think it’ll be a big problem. Just wash and dry accordingly, and try not let anything snag at the blanket.The length/size of the blanket is good. It fully fits my king bed, and hangs off the mattress plenty. (I also have a tall mattress)HOWEVER—- because this blanket has viscose (bamboo) material, it WILL shrink in hot water. Do not wash, or dry in hot water/heat. Lay out flat to dry, or air dry only in the dryer.I seen some previous reviews saying that the blankets are small, honestly I think maybe they washed/dried them incorrectly with out noticing that was the cause of the size. The king size is more than enough for a king bed.I picked the taupe color. It’s kinda a light beige and I’d say true to color. I wanted something other than white for my bedding, but if I ever go to change my bedding I’ll definitely get another blanket. But honestly I’m just debating on getting the white blanket too. I got it while on sale, (54$) but I would still pay original price for this blanket. It’s a new staple for my bedding.!Also, I did get an email from the seller with correct washing/drying instructions and care of the blanket.Overall a good buy, and probably will by again.

This blanket is perfect for Texas nights or if you’re a hot sleeper. I was tired of waking up several times a night so sweaty it would take me several minutes to cool off. This blanket is light, airy and breathable. It’s still a comfy blanket and feels wonderful on your skin. The quality is good, but I can tell it may not hold up well after several washings, so I wash mine on the delicate cycle and then low heat setting on the dryer. It comes out beautifully- (Before this purchase I had spent $300 on a Boll and Branch “breathable” blanket which was a big disappointment). I’m glad I gave this very affordable option a try. I just order a second one. Highly recommend.

This isn't really a cooling blanket - it is not cool to the touch - which is why I took off a star for being misleading. However it is very comfortable and lightweight, which avoids trapping too much heat like thicker blankets do, so it is still a solid option for people who run hot but need a blanket to sleep. I feel more coolness under the ceiling fan with it than I do with my other blankets.

I love this blanket! It’s light weight and allows cool air to come thru, some nights I’m too cold. The material is really nice a soft. Only problem I have is the waffle stitching catches on my nails which may be a problem if someone has animals.

I’m very happy with this blanket. I wanted something that was lighter weight than my comforter and looked nice and this was it! I’ve had it for months now and there’s been no shedding or shrinking. It holds up in the wash well and dries on medium just fine. Durable construction and I like the pattern. It’s thick enough to add warmth but not so bad that I over heat. Plus it’s easy to flip on and off of me when I need to. Better than some more expensive blankets in my opinion. I would buy it again

True to color and size. Nice texture. Good quality

The blanket functions as promised - it is lightweight and made of a very soft, comfortable, and cool-to-touch material. My only issue is with the fact that it snags VERY easily on jewelry like rings, and even longer fingernails and toenails.
