Karla Dornacher Teapot and Floral Design Stationery and Keepsake Box - 144-Pc. Set

VERY CUTE STUFF. HOWEVER. I bought this stuff to write to my pen pals. I am a huge harry potter nerd, and when i write letters i use a quill and ink. The note cards are SO GLOSSY that the ink doesnt absorb, and the letter paper is SO THIN that it bleeds and just looks bad. The envolopes have the same problem as the letter paper. So, warning for quill and ink users, this is not thr product for you unless you are in it for the box. (which is lovely, by the way). Anyone using normal pens? PERFECT PRODUCT, which is why i gave five stars. I will be keeping the box, but now need to think of something to do with all of this stationary. Bummer.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my elderly aunt who loves anything pink (and writing "good, old fashioned letters"). The description states that its pink, green, and cream. It's not. There's not a bit of pink anywhere on it. It's mostly coral/salmon. Unfortunately, I saw the 5 star rating and the photo (which looks pink) and it looked perfect for my aunt so I ordered it immediately without taking the time to read through the reviews where I would have seen that someone mentioned the color isn't as described. That irritates me. Though I do generally peruse the reviews before making a purchase, a person shouldn't HAVE to read them to be assured that what is ordered (believing what the seller says) is received. Anyway, It's not bad looking, just not what I wanted for her. Also, the top is kind of bowed in, and there's a slight bit of bit of damage along the edges. Her birthday was 2 days after I received it and I didn't have time to shop for another gift so I had to give it to her as is, (along with the pink sealing wax I ordered to put in the drawer, which clashes badly). She seemed happy with it anyway (she's so sweet, she wouldn't say if she wasn't), but I still wish it had been accurate in color (I would have ordered something else) or at least arrived in better shape.

These are beautiful. I am honestly impressed! I was a bit worried about what the quality would be because you can't really tell in the pictures, but they're perfect!! These are very cute and the box is very high quality and it's also very pretty. I can't believe how lovely these are for the price! I bought these to write my friend in the UK and she's going to adore these, I know it!! After I've used up all the stationery, I'll have to buy more! Plus, I can keep the box to store other stationery I have.

Purchased for my niece so we could write letters. She LOVES this stationary and the box. She was very pleased with the drawers on the box and continues to put things in them. The box has also held up very well with continued use. A big hit for a 12 year old girl.

I'm trying to encourage my granddaughters to correspond with me. So I bought each one this set, thinking the case/ compartment/ drawer thing would really appeal. Apparently they play an office type game with the sets. They are enchanted. I have received one letter and understand that two more are on the way. Very exciting for me too. Wish more sets like this were available. Incidentally, I do write back to them and include stickers..
